The one who reads several books discussion

This thread is for the discussions of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue which is our second BOTM for March 2021.

Here is a schedule you can follow if you like. You can do more or less chs as per your convenience.

If there are any errors please let me know.

March 2021

1st- Part 1 chapter 1 to part 2 chapter 1
2nd- Part 2 ch 1- part 3
3rd- Part 3 ch 1- Part
4th- Part 4 ch 1- Part 5
5th- Part 5 ch 1- Part 6
6th- Part 6 ch 1- Part 7
7th- Part 7

The BOTM will be till the end of March, so you can finish it later as well.
If you have already read the book, you can still take part in the discussions!

If you’d like to help leading the discussion, please volunteer here.
If there are no volunteers, then the mods will take over.

I have read this book in January but I can lead the discussion. I liked this book a lot!

I've read both books from the BOTM for this month too in the past, I hope everyone is able to enjoy them somehow! They were all good in their own ways!

Yes! But you can change it/make an alternate schedule if you'd like. :)

Oh no actually, I thought I misunderstood so I was checking with you. But, shouldn't we make it a little longer since it's BOTM and also, this book is quite lengthy?

I got this one from Book of the Month last year and only recently finished it. Got to admit, although it was beautifully written, I didn't care for it. I found it too slow and ultimately too depressing. I'll be interested to see how everyone else reacts to it as they read.

It's not mandatory to follow the schedule, you can read as per your convenience but make sure to complete it by the month end so we can discuss it.

I’m enjoying it. I feel bad for Addie.

I am not rereading the book as I have read it but yeah, I also felt the same about Addie.

I finished part 2 and it’s fun so far.

I haven't started it yet, but I'm hoping to start it today :)

I, personally, am really enjoying the book! I also feel really bad for Addie :(
I can't imagine what it must be like. The author's writing is also very beautiful. Just the way they describe everything is so incredible

I actually liked the ending.
I am happy with the way it ended.

I loved the fact that Addie got her own book, and I’m happy that she didn’t end up with Hendry. I honestly didn’t ship them together at all.
I don’t ship Addie with anyone now. I kinda liked her with Luke but I know their relationship isn’t a proper one. (hide spoiler)]

Yes, there were great quotes!
The audiobook narration was also excellent, made everything more impactful.
