High in the French Alps a luxurious chalet has been rented by a British tech company for meetings and skiing. The chef, Danny, and the concierge, Erin, welcome the small group from 'Snoop', a music sharing app that allows people to follow in real time what others are listening to. The friendly meetings turn suddenly dark as rumors of a hostile buy-out are brought to the surface. Members are sharply divided over the news but agree to try to enjoy their week-long vacation in the beautiful mountains. Suddenly an enormous avalanche encroaches on the chalet while several members are still out on the slopes. One young woman is certainly buried in the tons of snow. As the dangerous loss of power, water and communication begin to threaten those in the chalet, someone has begun killing the others. Which one of these people is a murderer and who will be left once the killer is revealed?

I liked the mystery of this story and the eerie suspense it held. I didn't figure out the culprit until well into the book and it was a pretty interesting reveal.

Excited to get to this one eventually! Ready for a modern locked-room Ruth Ware mystery.
