The Book Was Better discussion

Has anyone seen the new series? I’m re reading the book and only saw the pilot of the new show. I thought it was pretty darn good

I haven't read it..What genre is it?

in my opinion, the new show is pretty terrible. despite them having around 9 hours of air time, all of the characters (except a couple maybe) feel shallow, neither of them were developed properly. The non-linear timeline also takes so much from the characters.
The show also just keeps getting worse. Looking back now I see the first few episodes were fine compared to the second half of the show even though I hated them when I first watched them.

but if you still want to watch it, I'd say go for it. at least it might be considered as a comic parody of the book.
