Midnight lay on the warm beach, he let his scales soak in the sun as he drowsily sighed and looked around.

Darkwaves was swimming in the bay. She looks up and sees someone and quickly dives under.

Midnight startled as he heard a splash. His drowsiness disappeared as he stood on guard, looking around for any hostile Seawings.

The top of Darkwave's head popped out of the water. She sees a dragon around her age. She tilts her head slightly.

Midnight relaxes a bit as he sees the dragon seems friendly. "I'm Midnight" he smiled charmingly and sat down as he stared at her.

Darkwaves swims closer to him. "I-I'm Darkwaves." He says

"I'm sorry if I'm invading, this has just always been one of my favorite spots to relax. I'm just passing through on my way to the Rainforest if you'd be interested in joining me on my journey." he smiled again, his charming smile warm as the sun shone down on him.

She swims even closer. "Y-You travel?" She asks.

"Yes! All the time! I love to see the sights of Pyrrhia, I just wish I didn't have to see the same things over and over again." he sighed and his smiled faded to an awkward frown.

"Wow!" She says amazed. She comes out of the water. "Could I go?" She asks

"Of course! I'm always looking for travel buddies, I'm actually heading to invite a friend that I've always wanted to show the world. She's never been out of the Rainforest and I'd think you'd like her, she's very sweet." he closed his eyes to feel the warmth of the sun again before going into the Mud Kingdom. "Let's get going then!" he smiled once more.

She looks back at the water. Mother will be so upset. She thinks. "Let's go!" She says, shaking the water off her scales.

Midnight leapt into the air and began flying high into the sky. "We'll need to make a stop at the Mud Kingdom but that's all, then the Rainforest is right there!" he dived forward acting like a newborn dragonet flying for the first time.

"Ok!" She calls. She starts to fly into the sky like her father taught her.
