- [ ] He is becoming very vulnerable, they really need to find his eye and restore his immortality before it’s too late

- [ ] Martin really is small and narrowed minded

- [ ] Seems like Hun-Kame before he was betrayed and trapped he was a very selfish god and didn’t care about anyone but himself? I can sort of see that especially when he was first released by Cas. It is nice to see him differently now that he is spending more time with Cas
- [ ] Ooft Vucub-Kame really is mad now that he sees his brother on the throne in the future
Ch 18
- [ ] I feel so bad for both. Cas experiencing life, even if on the run but she is slowly dying.
- [ ] And Hun-Kame, finally experiencing human lifestyle and company but it has weakened him
- [ ] All that talk about making his brother suffer the same fate as he did, I don’t actually think he would go through with it in the end?
Ch 19
- [ ] First her life source, then her hair and now her blood? What else will he ask for her next?
Ch 20
- [ ] I found the part funny where she accuses Hun-Kame for looking so good when she is literally on deaths door
- [ ] He’s forgetting who he is?! That’s awful!
Ch 21
- [ ] Huh, Anibal just said that some mortals can enter Xibalba and see the Black City but only in their dreams. Maybe that’s what Cas will eventually achieve? Since she is beginning to dream about Xibalba?
- [ ] Man I really hope Martin gets that redemption arc. He is being played in a really dangerous game
- [ ] So far, I think this my fav set of chapters, really enjoyed learning more about Xibalba and about Hun-Kame and his brother’s past. I also love the interactions between Hun-Kame and Cas, the cute and bitter moments too

With every new chapter I’m enjoying this book more and more!Cas and Hun-Kame are also so clueless yet everyone they meet keep on throwing hints at them.
Also agree with most what Karen said. I’m beginning to feelbad for Martin. He has no idea what he got into.

I am hoping the last set really finishes it off with a good ending.
Also I am loving their vibes as well! They are definitely clueless I just hope it turns out well for them
YES! I DO HOPE FOR A HAPPY ENDING.I'm not the kind of person who wishes for everything neatly aligned and fixed BUT THIS TIME haha. I too hope with my whole heart that it turn out well for them.
