This month I tried out my first audiobook in a long time, we used to listen to them on roadtrips all the time when I was younger. "Knockout" by Mia Gold, its like a cozy mystery, crime drama. The ebook is free if anyone wants to read it, but I'm finding the audiobook more entertaining. I've turned it on while cooking or cleaning.

How fun! Lately I have been listening to podcasts on long car rides, but I think next time I will listen to an audiobook. I am glad you have been suggesting cozy mysterious this month, and in February. I haven't read too many of those, and that is a genre I would like to try out.

I know you have told me you have read a lot of Stephen King. Which book of his is your favorite? He has written so many, and I think for some people, they don't know where to start.
How are you liking On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous? I have seen so many great reviews on this book. It sounds so interesting, and it's on my list to read.

My favorite King book is hard to pick lol but if I had to I would say the dark towers series.. well there is 7 or 8 books so not sure if it's a series ... the other book on earth we're briefly gorgeous is so good.. I finished it this morning .
I'm finally reading the lunar chronicles by marissa meyer starting with Cinder. I passed it up when I was younger and am finally figuring out what the hype over it is about. I'm about 1/4 into it and liking it so far.
I'm reading dark fever by Karen Marie moning. I just finished the wives 7 minutes ago .. good book .

I remember how popular Cinder was when it came out! I love the idea of the series. Do you still get the "fairy-tale" feeling when you read Cinder?

How are you Dark Fever so far? I am seeing it get mixed reviews in the comment section on Goodreads. The Wives sounds so interesting! After I read about it, I thought to myself that it should be a movie, and then I just read Amazon is planning to turn it into a series. How cool!

aspects of the cinderella story are in Cinder but it's definitely a unique retelling, there is magic but it's also like a scifi fairytale. so it made it very interesting. I'll be reading the next one eventually, but now I'm seeing if I like Sarah j maas stuff with Throne of Glass. people seem to either really love her books or really dislike them. I heard her ACOTAR series is getting a hulu adaptation. there are lots of book to tv shows coming out on streaming platforms lately.

I hope you are all doing well. I want to give you all a big thank you for making February such an awesome month for our online book club! I have had so much fun hearing about what you all are reading, and I have picked up some suggestions I would have never thought of, and I hope you all have, too.
So, what are you currently reading right now? Are there any books that are coming out soon that you're excited about?
Happy Reading!
