Read A Foreign Country by Charles Cummings, based in Britain, with trips to a number of other countries. My review is here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I read Djinn City by Saad Hossain which is set in Bangladesh. I didn't love it (only gave it 2 stars) - way too long and the awesome story got lost as the other complicated it with too many plots.

Joosje | 54 comments I See London, I See France (I See London, I See France, #1) by Sarah Mlynowski Challenge complete. I read I see London, I see France, a YA novel about a backpacking trip through Europe. I enjoyed following their itinerary and visiting the tourist attractions with them, going from London via Amsterdam and Bruges to Paris, Switserland, the French Riviera and then Italy. It made me want to keep reading.

Simon Barton | 8 comments Challenging completed. Apeirogon by Colum McCann follows the lives of two family’s from either side of the Israel/Palestinian boarder. It was an interesting read but I can’t say I actually enjoyed it.

I adore Precious! A woman comfortable in her own skin and observant to boot. Her love of Botswana and Africa remind me of how I used to feel about my home state. The history and culture of her beloved land comes through clearly and I find it mesmerizing.
