Hiyaa!! I was wondering which book you had in mind for reading?? I can find all of them online if you don't have a physical copy of the ones I have on mind!!

I have an ebook of Lore rn so I would be happy to read it with you. I can't find a copy of The Loneliest Girl in the Universe though, which is too bad, it sounds interesting.

Also, I am 30% in the Betrothed and I'm liking it so far, except it jumped straight into the story so I was a bit confused but other than that, I am enjoying it :)

Yeah we can totally do the Heir and The Crown next! I'm curious to see what you think of it, because a lot of people really hate Eadlyn, the main character.
But my older sister said she actually liked books 4 & 5 more than the original trilogy. Makes sense, though, she's not much of a romantic, and I would say the original trilogy is a romance more than anything else.
I'm about 50% in at this point. I like it, but I see why a lot of people don't like it (the reviews are low key thrashing it lol). It's very insta-lovey and none of the characters feel all that exciting to me. But I am enjoying it, I just like The Selection books a lot more.

Yea same, I am about 40% in and I deff agree that it is insta love...which is kinda weird cuz I don't really like insta love that much but it is ok for now. I will maybe read 20-25% more today and we can talk again!! :))

Also, when do you plan to finish it so I can finish at the same time and we can discuss :))))

I'll probably finish it Tuesday- I'm reading on audiobook and my family is on a bit of a road trip right now, so I can listen in the car.

About 70% in, Hollis has just made an interesting decision... I dunno, I think she's being a little dramatic. Like I get not wanting to be queen, but I think she's being a little drastic.

Also I think Delia Grace is low key annoying :/

Ahhh sameee I do NOT like Delia Grace -_- and yep, Hollis did make a vErY weird decision...for some reason I dont trust Silas...he seems sus...especially with the 2nd books name called the bEtRaYeD...idk...its entertaining tho. *Me just screaming at Hollis half the time to stop making dumb decisions and carry on with her life XD* I'm glad that she made friends w/ Valentina tho cuz I acc like her more now :) (I didn't like Delia since the beginning-_-)

For a bit I was pretty sure that Delia Grace would betray her, cause she's very much annoying, and that would be the whole betrayed thing. I was okay with Delia Grace at the beginning but now? She is not good. And Hollis is still like "oh, i miss my bestie delia grace so much, I'm so happy that she and Jamison are doing good" and I'm like....????

Honestly not too happy with the ending, I don't think it's all that realistic that Hollis and Silas' mom are so...close yet? Like I've never been married or even so much as dated anyone but I'm pretty sure that you don't get that close with your MIL that quick. But i guess I do have a lack of experience in this area? I dunno.

Lmao same I finished this last night!! Hehe. I rly don't understand why Hollis is missing Delia Grace so much and I don't like Delia but like...I'm kinda happy that she didn't marry the King...and I was acc sad that Silas died...😞😞😞

I was hoping that he would be alive and come out from behind a bush or smthn, but that never happened ofc hehe. I'm still confused why the knights spared scarlet tho...but I'm happy for her ofc. For some reason, I don't rly wanna trust the mum because she seemed so...how do I say it...she was so heartbroken (if) that she didn't feel anything after that and she was soo determined to go back to the Northcotts and I was confused why she would want to leave so quickly...maybe she is planning smthn...

anyways, overall, I enjoyed the book quite a bit so I gave it a rating of 3.75 and rounded it to 4 because it wasn't a meh, but it wasn't an I really liked it either.

Tell me when you want to start the Heir 😏 I'm excited and scared at the same time because IDK what to expect ahh!! But, I am having high hopes...;)

I honestly wasn't too sad about Silas' death. Like I did not care about him. I feel mean, but like...he just was not my favorite character. But yeah I thought he still might be alive. I think there's a small possibility that maybe he hid under a bed or something and then survived? I'm still holding out hope, I didn't really like him, but I didn't like that he died either.

I'm probably going to give it like a 2 star rating? I thought the writing wasn't great and I didn't love any of the characters. There were parts that I liked, but there weren't enough of them to really make me give it anything higher. I'm pretty behind on writing reviews though. :/

Do we have to submit a form to say that we read the book? I know there is some kind of form, I just don't know where it is.

Little over halfway through, at the cooking competition scene. I just really love this scene (not too keen on the bit at the end, obvi) but like it's such a fun scene, with Eadlyn having to make food and stuff. Yeah, I think if I were to date someone that spoke a different language than me it would be maybe more convenient to learn their language? I would do anything for Henri though lol. :D

Finished! I mean I've read this book so many times by now that I know basically every plot event, but that ending shocks me a bit every time. Already started The Crown because I just felt the impulse to just dive in immediately.

Are you okay with reading Lore next? I have to return it to the library in a few days.

Yes, that's OK I am planning to finish the book today because I couldn't really read yester day :( but I will try and read the Crown quickly. I'm excited about the ending because I know alot of people who have said that it shocked them... Did America and Maxon die? Lmao don't tell me I'm intrigued!!

Hey, I'm Btw I am really ill and I have a headache, temperature, runny nose etc. I just wanted to say that I won't be able to read quite as much and I dotn really know hot to get the audiobook because the books is new. What I mean is that we can read a book that I have already started if your are interested: I don't wanna force or anythung, I'm just suggesting because I will have a headatart and by the time we finish the book, I would alright. lmao i recently read a book where the MC's name was David and i kept accidentally calling him daniel, so then I had to think extra hard whenever I wanted to say his actual name. so i guess it was then hardwired into my head to call everyone david? idk lol. Not a huge fan of the name wade though, it reminds me of like, really gross frogs.

um wasn't a huge fan of the way things ended up. I really just didn't like the romance that much. but i loved the final battle, and i was kinda surprised when Wade got that extra life. It felt a little deus ex machina but it also made sense because i really liked that scene earlier where he had to get the perfect score in the pac man game.

Yea same. I though that scene was useless and irrelevant but then I was quite surprised too!! I know, I wasn't a big fan of the romance too. It wasn't like a really big thing and YES THE LASY BATTLE WAS SO COOL!! I got kinda spoiled for ache tho but I was still shocked and I find it funny that she kept undercover for so many years...Lol 1 day left. I really enjoyed reading with you and I really hope that we can chat more in the future ☺️♥️
