Stardreamer turned, half expecting her sister pop out and scare her. She actually really missed Stargem, her sister. "Stardreamer?" Whisered a small voice. " Is that you?" A small velvety snout poked out from in between the swaying vines. Stardreamer jumped! The voice cried, "It is you, Stardreamer!" The scarlet dragonet swept out of the bush with joy. "Umm, Rosegold?" Said Stardreamer, a little confused...
..."Hi," The small dragonet replied, sheepishly. "What are you doing," The huge night wing demanded."Not why I'm here," Rosegold countered. She raised a tiny talon up so that Stardreamer could see. a small Amethyst caught the sun's rays and glittered brightly...
..."Whoa" The dark dragon reared in surprise. The little skywing nodded diligently, "I know." She tilted her head. "I found it in a scavengers dress. She was much taller, I'm not even sure she was a scavenger, but she looked like one." That could mean only one thing. Scavenger Goddess...

..."Noo, this is insane!" She shook her self "Must have been something else. Scavenger goddesses don't exist." The scarlet dragon raised a brow quizically...

...Nettle shivered again. Scorpio is an animus. He couldn't help thinking. If he used his powers he'd lose one of his closest friends. they wouldn't be friends then. Scorpio would lose himself and nothing would be left. Nettle shuddered and tried thinking about other things. Conchie was the best thing that had happended to him. Then the door flew open and there stood Princess conchie herself. Nettle stumbled backward...

..."Nettle," Coughed the seawing princess. "Conchie!" She tilted her head in cunfusement. "Why are you in here?" Conchie asked. "Me? Umm, I umm, was looking for a file up here." Nettle stammered. The blue dragonet curled her talons around her hips. She leaned in so close, that her snout was an inch from his face! "I don't believe you," She confessed. Nettle struggled to regain his balance and he opened a box containing all his shool work. He pretended that he was really looking for a scroll. She stared at him for a moment then lay down her chin propped on one talon, on the hard stone floor. Nettle felt his face flush. He hid his face inside the box and realized that Conchie might actually like him. He wondered what she was thinking...
...Conchie propped her head on her talons and watched as the green dragon dug through a box of scrolls. She stifled a giggle. Conchie didn't actually believe that Nettle was looking for a file. She thought that this dragon was ridicoulous. So opposite of Scorpio. Thought the princess. Then it slammed into her again. Scorpio. "Nettle," The dragonet demanded. "Why won't you talk to Scorpio?" The green dragonet raised his snout from the box. Conchie would have giggled at the cute face Nettle had on ,if not the occasion. Nettle sank onto the cold stone floor and shivered violently. "I'm frightened." He confessed. Conchie nodded her head. "Me too." Nettle shot up instantly. "You agree with me," Cried the leafwing dragonet. Conchie raised an eybrow. The dragonet turned pink and sank back down...
Dark wings. Dark wings. Stardreamer bolted up in her nook. She crashed her head on the dark rock and cried out in pain. A warm claw wrapped around her wrist. The huge dragon twisted free and crashed out of bed. "It's Only me, Stargem." The dark dragon stopped. "Stargem?"She cried "How..." She began...

"Escape the secret of scavengers
Beware the power within
The sea will drain all dragons inside
Until peace is finally restored
One of them is not the fate
One of them is a fake
Remember the world of Pyyria
And it will go back as it seems.
...Diamond stared at the small group of dragonets below her. Being the new dragon at phyrria was immensly hard, so the little icewing was staying in hiding for now. She was "Spying" on the other dragonets to learn more about how to be a phyyrian dragon. She watched as the White and Red dragon suddenly became rigid and spoke a riddle like a robot. Diamod tilted her head. Phyyrians where so weird...
...The sleek Icewing dragonet stilled.
"I am Diamond of the Icewings
Seeking to reach the Phyrrian Kings
Who are you
I'd like to meet you too"
Diamond was surprised to here the dragonets laugh. She felt her face flush. She'd sworn she'd done it correctly. She backed up hurriedly. "Wait" a scarlet dragonet yanked her elbow back. "Rosegold" The dragonet shook Diamonds whole arm. A cheerful smile spread across Rosegold's snout. a pale yellow dragon stepped up next to Rosegold. "This is Suculenta" The scarlet dragonet told her...

...Willow watched as the Rainwing crouched behind a bush. The little group seemed unaware that the dragon was there. She knelt on the gravel and took a deep breath. She stood and began to creep along the cliff face. she clung to the vines as she slipped inbetween the swaying ivy. "Come out!" Whispered Willow. "Ivy." She wrung her hands with worry. "Fern?" She called hopefully. No answer. She tiptoed into the cave, concealed behind the ivy and stopped. She felt cold fingers wrap her heart in a freezing embrace. The small cave was completely emty except for a pile of ashes in the corner and an upside down chair. The cold hand gripped her heart tighter and squeezed sending the dragonet reeling with pain. Her eyes fogged over as she crept back on the cliff face. Willow staggered down the rocky trail. A secret trail. Then she shuddered. Willow tripped on a stone and feeling quite dizzy with pain and fright, she couldn't catch a vine. A moment later, she could only feel the wind rushing past her as she plummeted down the 370 meter drop. She could not manage to spread her wings and when she finnally did, it was too late...
...A darkness wrapped her in a heavy cover. She couldn't move. She tried opening her eyes. Failing entirely she decided that she was dead. but she thought death hurt. or at least, she'd be flying, not stuck. But then she could hear a faint voice speaking in the distance. She couldn't remember what had happened to make her die or even who she was! She squeeezed her eyes tighter and a moment later, she was asleep. She dreamed that she was alive. She was leaping through the grassy terrain and picking every flower she could spot. Fruit fall was right behind her lugging his giant butt through the grass and screwing his evil eyes shut. That was it...

Willow woke to her shoulders being shaken violently, back and forth. Then There he was. The evil eyes peered down at her. She jumped in fright and began to inch away. "Willow!" The Rainwing Nightwing Hybrid cried. The leafwing trembled like a leaf and inched backward on her bottom. Was this ball of thorny quickweed devils dead too ? She wondered. Willow squeezed her eyes shut. Just then she heard a shout. I very familiar shout. Uncle Clay! She reached out to feel him and instead, a slimy paw met hers. She flinched as the slippery scales wrapped around her. "Will you marry me" Cried the thick slimy voice, belonging to Fruitfall. The leafwing gasped. She leapt to her feet and flew to the sound of her uncles warm voice. She collided with Fruitfalls slimy body, yet again! A thunderous voice boomed something but if he said anything more, Willow did not hear it. And when she woke again, a crowd of dragons with slimy smiles peered down at her. "You will marry me one day!" Fruitfall growled under his breath. he reached for her tiny talon and kissed it. Then he picked her up and oiled his way across the cave floor. She noticed a large lump of brown scales where gleaming in the light. ropes boud her uncle and a group of dragonets where carrying him away...

...Willow woke with a start. She ached all over. She reached for her uncle again and stopped. She forced her eyes open and immedietly relaxed. Only a dream. She curled up ina ball and rested her snout on her talon. Just then, Willow heard several voices whisper, "I hope she will recover from the fall and her illness. " "I heard that the illness made her stumble, but why was she stuck in the cliff face?" asked another voice. Willow bolted up in the little nook she was sleeping in and realized she was in a Hospital. A snout poked her in the back and she whirled around. A kind face stared lovingly at her. It was her mother. Her dear mother was here! Another lime green snout nudged her other arm and she turned to see her brothers Nettle and Oakley. Her Uncle Clay was sitting on a plastic chair on the far wall but her Father was nowhere to be seen.
...Conchie folded her claws and leaned back in her chair. "Willow report." Suculenta ordered, getting up. The little leafwing staggered to the center of the cave and cleared her throat. "Fruitfall has been spying again. Oh and fern and ivy's place has been burnt down." An excited buzz ran through the crowd of dragonets. Willow tripped back to her seat and sank into it. "Diamond report" Shouted The Sandwing over the shouts of the female dragonets echoing off the walls...

Finally, peace! Scorpio hopped onto his stone ledge at Jade Mountain, hoping for some sleep after this long day of surprises. He knew that tomorrow would be just as eventful, but now he needed to rest. Suddenly, a creepy voice seemed to crawl up his throat. He recognized it as Fruitfall; The Shell-hating brother of Starleaf. "Get up, pathetic Sandwing, or perhaps you'll need to treat Queen Sandstorm more like a mother." "Well, what would you need me for?" Scorpio replied, hoping to sound bold. "Get up, pathetic Sandwing." Fruitfall coldly repeated. "Say, what would you think if Conchie... disappeared? Wouldn't it mean one less dragonet to argue with? She is a Seawing princess, afterall. You know how hard-headed they are! And with your... formidable powers-" "I would never use animus magic on other dragons! Definitely not my friends! I can't believe you'd think I'd do that to Conchie!" "Look, I gave you a chance, OK? You should know I don't do that often. And if you won't cooperate..."

...Apple carried the small dragonet to the river. Rasberry was very sick. Apple wondered if she'd gotten illnessia like her friend Willow. If she was going to die like her mother. Apple dismissed her fears and pulled the little knot at the end of the vine. A cool blast of air hit her in the snout and sent Apple reeling. "Hurry." A highpitched voice ordered hurriedly. Apple placed a talon on the vine. then a wood platform came swinging down the tree. The Red and White dragonet limped onto it and lay her sister on the wood planks. It was pulled up by someone and in record time, Apple and Rasberry were in the high up branches. Fern, one of her friends, picked the fuxsia dragonet up and carried her to a little hive shaped house. She entered the twig wigwam and disappeared. Apple sat down with a shiver. Just then, Willow came tumbling through the branches. "Apple White," Willow exclaimed. Apple nodded and took her friends talons. "Rasberry might begetting illnessia," Apple confided...

...Pearl leaned against her older sister. Conchie was brave. she would keep Pearl safe. No wicked Rainwing would kidnapp her as long as Conchie was there. The big old bully would never kill her mother. Queen Shell was guarded by 50 guards and Pearl would protect her too. Aunt Anemone was also a Queen. She'd protect her little sister. Aunt Auklet would too. Well, she was Conchie's age. No big butted dragonet could ever defeat them...
...Anemone gasped. "Go to Atlantis immedietly. Tell my sister that They are headed there."Yes your majesty." The messenger mumbled. Queen Anemone stepped down from her throne. "I will be leaving for the deep palace shortly. We require the safety of the sea."...
...Princess Auklet growled softly. A shadow was creeping up the passage. I can handle this, She thought. Then the rainwing leapt into her cave and shredded her wings. She shreiked in fury and pain. She bit him and stabbed him in the eye. He whirled around and slapped her with his tail. Fruitfall was way larger than her. She crouched on the floor, blood pouring out of her wings. He must have known that she slept with a deaf Quartzwing. He leapt again and pounced on her back. He dug his talons into her shoulders. Auklet shreiked again. She rolled over and stabbed him in his arm as hard as she could with her diamond pin. Blood poured out. Auklet rememered that she'd dipped it in box jellyfish intestines. poisonous to all except seawings. He howled. Fruitfall raised a yellow talon and dug a knife into her stomach. Auklet staggered back and realized that it was not Fruitfall turned yellow but a real Sandwing. His eyes were opaque and swirling white. No pupil was visible. Red warts were already enveloping him. And as he fell to the floor she spotted the scar swisting up his foreleg. Auklet's heart lodged in her throat. tears started welling up in her eyes. It was Oryx.

...Oryx felt like his body was on fire. Every mustle screamed out in pain. He tried to speak. But his throat felt like Gello. Then he, with much dificulty forced an eye open. the blurry shape of a seawing loomed over him. A soft voice, choked with crying was softly singing a seawing lulluby. He realized it must be Auklet. His heart flew to theclouds. He loved her. And he didn't feel like he was controlled. he had his own mind!..

...Rosequartz had seen many a sad scene but this one, this one had only a dragonet involved. Queen Rosequartz lifted a wing and in a blink a large crowd of beautiful multicolored scaled dragons stood next to the queen. She pointed at the Night Rain Hybrid and all fell silent. "Queen Rosequartz," A small voice squeaked. Rosequartz looked down. A small Green and Pink dragonet skitted to a stop infront of her. "Why, Hello Watermelon," Said the Queen. Watermelon's eye's sparkled. "Thanks so much for calling me Watermelon instead of ol' repetative tourmaline. Everybodys' called Tourmaline! Tourmaline P, Tourmalin Limestone! That's not even all!" Which made the queen smile. Watermelon jumped up and her small wings beat furiosly back and forth. it only worked for a second. Her bottom slammed onto the cliff. "Aww." She complained. "I know what his name is,"She said as soon as she'd gotten over her bottom. "Fruitfall."She wiped her tiny talons on a pretty pink and green hanky embroidered with her name. Rosequartz recognized the gift she'd made for one of her favorite subject's Hatching day. "Good to know,"Replied the queen. Watermelon blushed crimson, but stayed where she was. Rosequartz picked up a rough grey stone. She flipped it between her claws thoughtfully. Finally, Queen Rosequartz turned to Opal. "Dearest cousin, please find Rosegold."...

"Wow" Canyon said. "I know" Starblossom agreed. Living in the unborn universe was rather boring. They did not know that there was another universe. Time seemed so long. Actually, it was millions of years. It only felt like a few hours instead. Starbossom Showed Canyon and Torquoise the glittering portal in the distance. "Let's explore!" Torquoise yelled.

...Starblossom giggled. Canyon snorted out his Moonpulp gloop. whisps of smoke trailed out of a hysterical Nightlights snout. Tendrils of Starflame rose from Obsydian's Tiny Body. They all fell down with laughing again. "Poor Obsy..."And then Starblossom fell into a fit of giggles. Not being able to finish her Sympathetic senence Canyon jumped at the chance. "I'm sure...'Hiccup'... She's...'Hiccup'Sorry for burning you aliv...'Hiccup...Haa...'.'' He hiccuped with laughter. Obsydian crossed her wings and sat on the glassy black floor. She puckered her tiny forehead sending the three unborn dragonets reeling with hysteria...
...Gale tossed her tiny head and twirled around on her talons. Torquoise rolled his eyes. "Showing off again,"He muttered. She frowned. She WAS trying to catch Canyon's eye. She didn't seem able to do so though. Tarantula was looking off into the distance. Starblossom was staring longingly at him. Another crush. She was good at recognizing when her friends were in love. Tarantula WAS hansome. his broad shoulders looked so strong. His mustles bulged. His tragic face was so intruiging. Gale looked away. Canyon was hansomer. Canyon was scrunching up his brow. He was staring straight at a thin scroll made of moontree bark. Obsydian caught Gales eye. She noticed! Obsydian twisted her brow and stared straight at Gale. She squealed. What was WRONG with her!?!? Ever since they'd met across the glassy world, Gale had noticed that Obsydian kept glancing strange and forbiddable stares. Did she know her secret? That I love Canyon? Or the other one...
