Outside, Asuna could be seen flying down, landing in front of the cafe. His wings seem to be missing some feathers, enough that it was noticeable anyways. He likely had to use them while working. He walked into the cafe and walked over to them. He took off his mask and attached it to his belt. He seemed to wear his usual, blank look. Most might find him scary to look at, what with his eyes making it look like he was glaring at someone constantly. He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, something that didn't really fit a tall, masculine male like him. The small, awkward movement definitely didn't fit with his overall look. "They wouldn't let me leave until they looked at all my injuries." He apologized. Well, it was his fault anyway. He's gone off to who knows where with serious injuries before, so it's no surprise that the doctors and medics that come to the scene force him to stay still so they can make sure he doesn't do that again. They don't want him fainting from blood loss in the middle of the street after all. He didn't seem to have much common sense after all. He looked up, meeting Togima's eyes. Despite his fierce-looking eyes, and the scars on his face that would normally mark him as a scary person (like a thug or something, as they are clearly caused by a blade), he seemed pretty passive and calm. You'd usually expect someone like him to be mean mugging people on the streets and being part of a gang. Or, at least, those were a few of the things he had been told before. He was more or so like an obedient puppy than anything, or a child who was still learning about the world. He hadn't really told the girl before him much about his childhood or anything, but honestly, he didn't really care if people knew. It's just, his father advised him against telling people so casually about it when asked. He wouldn't mind if Togima was the person he told though, as she was his only and first actual friend. He then glanced down toward Ayumu and nodded. It wasn't very obvious at first glance, unless you've been around him a lot and gotten to know him, but his facial expression softened a bit upon seeing the child. He wasn't a very talkative person, but he did enjoy speaking to Ayumu and Togima.

He nodded at Togima's words. He didn't mind staying with Ayumu for a while longer, even after she left. Honestly, if she asked, he'd probably be more than willing to stay with the child for an entire day at least. "I can watch him," he said calmly with a small nod. Most would describe it as hard to understand what the other was thinking, due to his blank face. In reality, he wasn't really thinking of much and it wasn't very hard to understand his thought process due to how simple he was.
He glanced down at Ayumu, who was touching his wings. He nodded once more. "I took down some criminals earlier, part of the reason I was late. The nurse lady wouldn't let me leave until the doctor man checked me for injuries. They'll grow back soon, it doesn't really hurt or anything." He told Ayumu. His way of talking was very childish, and most would assume he was doing that for the kid, but that's just really how he talked sometimes. There was a reason this man wasn't a teacher, nor attending normal schooling.
He looked back to Togima, petting the child's head as he did so. It was how he showed his affection sometimes, like how someone would pet their beloved dog or cat. It was also his way of letting the child know it was okay to play with his wings if he wanted. "That's good. If you need, I can drop by to help out more," he told her. It honestly just seemed like he wanted to stop by more to see the both of them. It was clear that he did not abhor any romantic or sexual feelings toward Togima. Then again, he probably didn't understand those things very well yet. That much was probably obvious when he came to apologize to Togima and didn't understand how they had a child together. He thought children were made in labs. Apparently, they were made in stomachs. The reason he used the quirk thing as an excuse though was that, in this day and age, quirks were getting stronger and stronger, some being hard to control. It was customary to start helping the child try to understand their quirk as well as a way to control it. That's why when a kid starts developing a quirk, it was usually more troublesome than usual. Asuna thought of that, though, he doubts Ayumu would cause trouble for his mother. He just wanted to play with the child, and well, help out more. He felt a bit guilty that he was only giving her money. He had been watching this 'television' recently, and he learned that mothers and fathers are typically together. Though, they also have feelings for each other. He couldn't really do either, so the most he could do is be there for the both of them more. Whether it's just to let Togima rest or go to work.

"Ah, you shouldn't use it too much then until it forms more." he told the small male before him. He ruffled his hair, very proud that he was able to use such a big word. He glanced back toward Togima. He tilted his head. "Bother?" He questioned. "Keigo says that I'm one of Ayumu's 'parents,' so I'm responsible for him as well because I helped bring him into the world, so I don't mind taking him whenever you need me to. Plus, I like being around children, especially Ayumu, so it's not a bother at all." He told her. He was still learning, and the concept of parents was still very obviously foreign to him, but he seemed to be trying. He really wanted to be a responsible 'father', like Keigo, because it seems pretty cool. He was often taught in the facility that children were the future, so naturally, being able to help raise one, affectionately so they don't end up like how he did, he wanted to do that. "You also don't need to replace anything if he breaks something. I have the money to replace them from my security job. I don't mind keeping him for an entire day either." He told her. His voice was calm and quiet, and well, if she just told him no he would naturally do as she said. He was recently learning what a boundary was, and that he needed to respect that boundary. While he did want to see Ayumu more, if Togima wasn't comfortable with that, he would respect it. Togima was the child's mother after all. She fostered the small being in her stomach for a year longer than he had known the baby, even though he was there for its eviction from her stomach.
He glanced toward Ayumu, soon diverting his attention to the child. He reached into his pocket when he asked until Togami said no. He froze and pulled his hand back out. "Uh, No?" He repeated to the child, though he seemed a bit confused. He only told someone no if someone of higher authority (in his mind) told them no. In his head, Togami was of higher authority, right next to his father. So, naturally, when she told Ayumu no, he repeated it, like an obedient animal or robot. He did seem pretty confused though. He glanced toward Togami, hoping that it could help him understand why the child couldn't have any of the currency.

He nodded at the woman's words, taking note that the child was not permitted to have ice cream until three. Holidays? He tilted his head in confusion. He hasn't learned that yet. He's been living alone since he left the facility after all, and of course, Keigo would visit him and help him with understanding things better when he was free, but never on these 'holidays.' Despite the obvious confusion on his face upon her saying the word, he did not ask her what it was but instead pushing his attention toward something more important than understanding what a holiday was. The child was speaking. He looked at him for a moment before nodding. He would not see the grandpa today. Unless the grandpa came to visit. He froze upon hearing her question though. "It's been five.." he muttered quietly, glancing toward her. He kept his eyes and head down, much like a dog being scolded by its master. "Am I supposed to call him 'Dad'?" he questioned. He was still learning the whole family thing, but he wasn't sure if it was okay for him to call Keigo that, as he had come to learn that he wasn't created in a conventional way. Keigo did not create him out of his own will, rather, someone else created him in a lab. That, apparently, was not normal. He had always heard those at the facilities compare him to a Nomu, but it wasn't until after he learned that Togami was pregnant with Ayumu that he truly learned what that was. However, if Togami had told him he should call Keigo dad, he would do as she said. He didn't seem to fully grasp the free will thing yet, nor does he seem to have anything that he strongly wants, so he's just been kind of going with things since leaving the facility. He did want to spend more time with Ayumu, but he couldn't quite classify it as desire yet, as he hasn't had to fight for it. At least he wasn't just doing whatever anyone told him to do anymore and has established the understanding of who are 'good' people in his lives, those he considers to be authority figures of the sort. Someone who knows about life that he should learn from. He really only had three people like that. Togami, Ayumu, and Keigo. One was a child, one he slept with as an act of rebellion that created the child, and the other is not his creator but technically also is? It was a bit confusing for Asuna to fully wrap his head around. He wasn't sure what to do, especially with that 'father' role thing. He was still learning what the father role was, having been told that a father should be there for his children from their childhood into their adulthood and always after that. So, he knew that he had to be there for Ayumu and that made him his father, but he didn't know Keigo until five years ago, and he wasn't exactly a child. From the explanation he read online, Akimitsu was his parental figure, but then again, his situation was complicated. He was looking towards Togami, expecting an answer. If she told him no, then he wouldn't. If he did, then he would officially establish Keigo as 'dad' in his mind.

He felt a bit bad now if it was really that simple. "But.. it's a bit different. Keigo didn't create me, he's just part of my DNA. Do I still call him dad?" He questioned. That small bit of him unloading his existence seemed like a huge, pain in the ass. Complicated beyond belief. He then heard her question before shaking his head. "I've heard about the situation. They said I'm not the right person to deal with hostage situations and demands, also because I'm injured, so I'm not really allowed on the case. I'm just waiting on a report on the situation, in case they need me to fly in." He told her quietly. He didn't know much about the situation, just that he wasn't competent enough to handle it. He might just give in to their demands without a question and not even plan ahead. It was a good thing he wasn't on that case. He'd probably screw it up.

Asuna was about to reply to Togami, but his eyes widened when he saw the situation. His wings spread out a bit as they began to glow. In a swift moment, he managed to catch both the children. The light from his wings quickly faded though. Unlike Togami, Asuna had been training with his quirk for many years, so naturally, he didn't have much trouble controlling it, even with a few feathers missing. "Are you okay?" Asuna asked, helping them both upright. One of his wings had hit a chair on the way there, so he kind of just curled up his wings so it didn't happen again. He didn't want to accidentally break one because he was stupid enough to get them caught in a small place again. He seemed pretty worried about Ayumu, his brows furrowed. It wasn't very often that the male showed an emotion aside from that of confusion. "Try to be careful. You still aren't accustomed to your quirk." He told the male. Unlike Keigo, he did not act with his feathers, but his whole body. Keigo would have likely just sent a bunch of feathers their way to catch them, however, Asuna had a different style, if you could even call it that. He frowned a bit before flicking Ayumu's forehead. Not hard enough to hurt him or leave marking, but it was a form of discipline. He may have been trying to save the girl, but his experience put both of them at risk of being injured. Though, he couldn't put that into words, nor could he discipline a mere child for not knowing better. The flick to the forehead was good enough to show that he shouldn't have done what he did. He looked at both of them before sighing. Usually, when trying to catch someone, it wasn't unusual to do more harm than good, especially when the two of them are roughly the same size. There had been times when someone had gotten a broken clavicle because another person tried to do good by catching them. He stared them down before sighing. Neither of them seemed to have anything broken.

The male nodded, bringing the small child over to their booth and placing him down gently. He glanced toward Togami, frowning in worry. Now he was worried about her. He looked at her with a face that basically asked 'do I need to flick you too?' He glanced back at his child before looking back at Togami once more. "Was he not be able to do that before?" He questioned, tilting his head. He didn't know the extent to what they have figured out about the boy. He was just kind of glad the male's wings were made of light rather than being actual wings. Otherwise, it would have been really painful for him to watch him grow his wings as he once did. "Should.. you two go to the doctor?" he asked worriedly, looking between the unconscious boy and the poisoned Flashlight before him.

He nodded, glancing down at where she flicked him momentarily. He didn't seem as phased as his son. He frowned a bit when he heard she had to leave. He nodded once she started asking him questions. "Yeah, it's good. I'll feed him ice cream and stuff. Be careful." he told her. He glanced at the child before picking him up. He seemed to plan to carry the child to his apartment. Over the years he's been with the two of them, he seemed to be learning how to properly have regard for someone else's life, even if he didn't have much regard for his own. "I'll bring him to my apartment. I have tubs of ice cream and a cake in my fridge." He told her.

He nodded in understanding. "He'll be fine, don't worry." He tried to reassure her. "Is he allergic to anything that I should know about, and is he good with dogs?" He asked the female, wanting to make sure that there wasn't anything that he didn't know of. "Ah, also. I sent the money I got from my hero work to your place." He told her. He didn't care what they used the money for, whether it be money expenses or just saving it up for the child in the future. A trust fund. He had expressed this in the past and was pretty adamant about giving them money every week. The only money he ever really kept was his money from his security job, which was definitely significantly less than the hero money, as he was in the top fifties. But, he never really spent much on luxury, just food, and necessities. He always still had money left over by the time payday came over, which is probably why he was more than willing to spend more money on Ayumu. He took the number she gave him and added it to his phone quickly.

He shook his head. "I don't... have anything I want other than you guys.." He muttered quietly. "It's too much money for me and I don't really like animals." He said, looking to the side awkwardly. He didn't really know how to spend money. His clothes weren't too expensive, and he didn't really care to splurge. Nor did he like anything enough to spend that kind of money. He didn't want to go on vacations, nor was he allowed. He may have gotten his freedom, but he still had eyes on him all the time. Money was useless to him. The only things he seemed to desire was to really spend time with his son and friend, and well, make them happy. He didn't really have any strong desires to speak of, nor was he much of a materialistic person. His apartment had practically nothing in it too. A kitchen, bathroom, a bed, and a couch. He only had a tv for Ayumu and he slept on the couch, so the bed was really only for guests. "I just.. want to be helpful and provide something for Ayumu. Is that... wrong?" He asked quietly.

He tilted his head a bit. He seemed pretty confused about what she meant. "I don't particularly mind. I never planned on doing anything like that, I just didn't want to invade in your space or time with him, as we technically aren't 'lovers'." he told her. "You always seemed kind of on guard when it comes to her, so it kind of felt like you didn't want me around him too much, which, is understandable because when he was conceived, it was for the wrong reasons, at least, on my end. You have a right to be protective because you're his mother, so I didn't want to push it too much. I do want to be there more for him though, as he's my son too." He tried to explain. He usually didn't talk very much, or at least, not convey that level of understanding, emotion, and concern. It was clear he had been thinking about the whole thing for a long time, it wouldn't be hard to believe if he had actually practiced and rehearsed trying to ask to spend more time with their son. Despite his scary figure, he seemed pretty quiet and soft-spoken. Through the years between when they met and now, it seemed like he was becoming more and more capable of more complicated thoughts and feelings, and a lot of them seem to be pointed toward their son. Feelings of worry, concern, desire (in a completely pure way).

The boy isn't capable of that kind of desire at the moment. He wasn't when they hooked up that night, he did it because he was told to and he wanted to 'rebel' (hence the wrong reasons). He didn't know of the consequences of doing so, and that it would create life, though he does not feel any remorse or regret.
So, basically, one night
the two were drunk and smashed-

In this kind of situation, it's usually the man who's made out to be the bad guy for taking the girl's virginity, but like.
I feel like it's probably worse that Togima took his due to how he is as a person. He doesn't know any better as was raised and created to be a weapon, not a person to be capable of complicated thinking and emotions
