I love this book so much! It gives a really important message in quite a simple way. The book is so powerful, it opens your eyes to the reality, which we are often ignorant of. It definitely leaves an impact on the reader. I could relate to the characters very well despite never having lived the life Starr did.
It's an amazing read, and important too. I hope everyone loves as much as I did!!

I wish I could, but I have my exams this month, so even though I really want to read both the BOTMs of this month as they both seem super interesting, I won't be able to :/

But when I read this one, I will surely let you know, Johanna, because well, let's just say The Black Kids wasn't my cup of tea, as you very well know, and you said this one was much better, so I really look forward to reading this! :D
