I throw off my shoes and dig my feet into the sand. The salty sea air fills my lungs and I feel refreshed. at home. anew. I run into the ocean and let the waves wash over me.

I step out of the ocean onto the sand and am completely dry. Perks of being a daughter of Poseidon. I sit down. "Hey, mom. Um...I don't know if you can hear me. dad said you live on Olympus. I miss you. "

((be her mom and have her appear on the beach))

“I hear you my dear”

I stand then jump back "AGH!" I fall into the sand and laugh.

“Are you alright my dear?”

"Wha- uh, oh yes im fine. Why cant I remember you?"

"Mom?"

“You were to young when I had to leave”

"Your hiding something from me? Dad said something about you being a princess... But that wasn't true was it?"

“Not exactly. I was a princess but then I became a minor goddess”

“Excuse me?!”

“Madi?” Poseidon said walking up then noticed Madi’s mom. He stopped in his tracks “Uh Hi?”

"What the shuck is going on?"

“Uh what’s there to explain? You’ve met your mother and you know I’m your father nothing going on”

"Yeah, sure. Not the fact my ENTIRE life has been a lie! Mom supposedly DIED when I was 2, you, dad, left before I was born!" I run off and dive into the ocean. I swim as far as I can. I don't get tired. I don't care if dad will come after me or bring me back with the power of the ocean. I'm done with all the lies. It's tiring. I finally go as far as I can. then start going down. I want to see the coral.

"Of course I did! Shes our daughter and wouldn't you be a little shocked if BOTH your parents were gods? Hmmm? I'm ging to bring her back."

“Don’t. She clearly needs to be alone. If anything send her to camp and maybe her boyfriend will finder her. He’s a good kid.”

"How did you know about Will?"

“Im a goddess.”

"Fine. I'm going to go speak with her. I cannot take this teen drama stuff"

He laughs a bid hearty laugh then soaks her through with a mini tsunami

She grumbled then walked into the surf to find madi

Madi POV

I finally swim to the bottom. The coral is beautiful. Hundreds of colors. I see a little sea horse and swim up to it. It doesn't flinch or anything. "hey mister sea horse."
'I HAVE A NAME" "Woah. Wait, what the shuck just happened." "eh, you must me a child of Poseidon. Ability to speak to sea animals and horses."

I swim down and look for madi

I listen carefully and something is moving through the water. My mind first went to sharks, but there's no sharks in the bay.

I think of posiedon then think “do you see her?”

"no luck."

Madi POV

I continue to speak to the sea horse. "What's your name?"
"My name is Sauce." "I like that name!"

“Meet me on the surface”

"fine"

I burst through the surface

"Any sign of her? In sure she's here, I can feel her."

“Yeah she’s here. But she needs to be alone”

"then why did you try to follow her?"

“Because I knew you wouldn’t stop until you tried to look for her”
