Not what I'm currently reading, but just wanted to share the book I just finished this weekend - Humankind by Rutger Bregman.

Uses science, history, psychology etc to tell stories that seek to prove humans are fundamentally good - against the age old idea we are inherently selfish.
Such a hopeful idea and really well evidenced, this actually blew my mind! Would definitely recommend.
