Lilly S Something happened to my original nook and I decided I needed a new one. So here we are

Lilly S Rn I’m home alone for the first time in forever *cue frozen music* and it’s amazing. I was just sitting on the couch reading and snacking on random things, but there were some huge flashes of lightning and some super loud thunder and both me and my dogs are freaking out. So we can add thunderstorms to my list of fears. Now it’s just hailing super hard

Lilly S HELLO PEOPLE OF MY NOOK

Sounds fun

Hmm yes

message 9: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S I’ve never had hail fall in June so yeah. Lmaooo I should go blast the frozen soundtrack out in the hail

message 10: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S The fact that I was considering wearing shorts today-

message 11: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S Here’s our weather so far today:

When I woke up at noon- dark, rainy, and a little bit misty
About 12:40- super dark and cloudy, pouring rain, enough that it looked like there’d be a slight flood
1:30- Super sunny (I love that my phone autocorrected sunny to Sunny because of my dog), warm, and overall nice
3:30- lightning, thunder, an ungodly amount of hail

And now it’s sunny and warm again. Why can’t it just pick one? Yesterday it would pour rain for five minutes, be nice for the next ten minutes, and then pour rain again. Global warming sucks

message 12: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S 60 is hot I can’t believe all of the people who say it’s not

message 13: by nis_boooks (new)

nis_boooks | 5349 comments Adela wrote: "It’s just been hot all day here. Well not that hot I guess. It’s 63 degrees outside but it’s super sunny so it feels warmer"

Wow

It’s 29 degrees where i live :(

message 14: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S That sucks. I would kill for it to be over 60 sometime

message 15: by nis_boooks (new)

nis_boooks | 5349 comments Lilly wrote: "That sucks. I would kill for it to be over 60 sometime"

Yeah that would be amazing

message 16: by nis_boooks (new)

nis_boooks | 5349 comments Adela wrote: "In NC it was 112 degrees Fahrenheit once"

Wow...

message 17: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S I think the hottest it’s been here is like 100 degrees. It’s so weird when you consider that 100 degrees is the average in some places

message 18: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S Damn

nis_boooks | 5349 comments Adela wrote: "But for some reason Virginia is always super cold. Especially in the mountains. Once we went camping there and I kept waking up because I was so cold. I think it was around 8 degrees there?"

Oh wow

message 20: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S I thought my parents were supposed to get here like thirty minutes ago and I just had a low key panic attack before I realized they’re supposed to get here right about now

message 21: by nis_boooks (new)

nis_boooks | 5349 comments I like hot weather better than cold weather.
I’m kinda used to hot weather (I grew up in India)
But I just cannot function in cold weather

What about you?

message 22: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S So that was fun

message 23: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S I like both equally 🤷🏻‍♀️

nis_boooks | 5349 comments Adela wrote: "Bruh one time my parents left me home alone for like eight hours and they said they’d only be going to the store"

8 HOURS?!

message 25: by nis_boooks (new)

nis_boooks | 5349 comments I always have a mini heart attack when I’m home alone and I hear a weird noise from inside the house

message 26: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S I- 8 hours? What the hell were they doing?

message 27: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S I can see blue sky again what is actually up with the weather right now

message 28: by nis_boooks (new)

nis_boooks | 5349 comments Lilly wrote: "I can see blue sky again what is actually up with the weather right now"

Oh wow

message 29: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S It’s thirty minutes after they were really supposed to get here maybe it’s time for a real panic attack

message 30: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S I just realized I could text them. If you can’t tell, I’m super smart

message 31: by nis_boooks (new)

nis_boooks | 5349 comments Lilly wrote: "It’s thirty minutes after they were really supposed to get here maybe it’s time for a real panic attack"

Can't you call or text them?

message 33: by Lilly S (new)

message 37: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S Oooh hello Lacey. YES ALIVETH.

message 38: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S Hm what to talk about. Well, my schedule just changed and I am angered because now I have no idea when to go to class and I get blamed for being late. I'm not the one who changed the schedule in the middle of the year

message 39: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S That's not much of a conversation starter is it

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

Lilly wrote: "That's not much of a conversation starter is it"

depends if someone relates

message 41: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S Very true

message 42: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S The boredom is real right now. I only have one piece of ELA homework that I don't feel like doing and I have no idea what to do

message 43: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S You know the people who procrastinate their chores with reading? Well I procrastinate reading with everything else

message 44: by nis_boooks (new)

message 45: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S And then overdrive doesn't have any audiobooks of the books I want to read so that doesn't work

message 46: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S *Internal screaming*

message 48: by nis_boooks (new)

nis_boooks | 5349 comments Don't you have Libby or Hoopla or something else?

message 49: by Lilly S (new)

Lilly S I have libby but everything is connected to my city library, so it doesn't really matter where I barrow them from

message 50: by nis_boooks (new)
