Hey! I'm so excited to read this book :D

So, there are 89 chapters in this. Tooo many. How about we try to aim for 6 chapters a day? It would just require, like, 45 minutes. Is that fine for you all?

Yes this is now first TOG I really love from the beginning. I think it made for me so much to know more about Aelin's past. And she has really grown up, I like it!! And the story is interesting, last book ended so thrilling and this continues from that point. This is super interesting!

I love Aelin in this one too! I finished 24 chapters and oh lord, all the chapters from Dorian's POV are so heartbreaking. (view spoiler)[And the only time she annoyed me was when she thought of killing Dorian! (hide spoiler)] I don't really know what to think of Chaol yet. Nesryn is awesome, and so is Aedion :D

I am loving the book too! Florine is also nice. (view spoiler)[And they finaly broke Aedion out :D I just want to see Rowan again. I started liking him in the last book but there is not even a trace of him in this one, except a few mentions! I want to see his POV and what he thinks. (hide spoiler)]

Seems like a lot of new characters are introduced(or maybe I just forgot the characters that were there before), I'm excited to read Dorian's chapters!

No, I haven't started yet and I don't think I will till April(my exams last that long). So you both can read more and start reading the next book too. I'll just catch up in April when my exams end :/

Chapter 24 finished
(view spoiler)[I have enjoyed this so much, I have found Aelin now really likable character. And I'm also happy that they saved Aedion so fast and now there is more twists to come. I had waited that they would only plan saving him almost all the book and that operation would happen in the end. But that wasn't the case and now there is so much more to come. It's so nice that Lysandra is now Aelin's friend! But you can't really know if that lasts or if she betray her in some point. And I still like Manon! And I think she might find a friend from this servant. Or will the servant escape? And what happens if/when they are making children using valgis & witches?? There is soooo much that we have to find out, I'm excited! (hide spoiler)]

So she didn't annoyed me in that point :D I'm not missing Rowan because I don't need romance. There is so many interesting things going on and fantastic characters. I enjoy the ride! (hide spoiler)]

Also, Rowan came back! It hurts me that Aedion didn't get the blood oath he'd been waiting for his whole life and that Aelin kicked him out for just that. Though I love Nesryn so much now!

(view spoiler)[This was interesting from the first page and had some really good & surprising plot twists. But the last 150 pages weren't really great. I had hoped more good twists there, but the end part was really straithforward action and not so clever plotwise. I'm a bit concerned how the next one begins. There wasn't something really surprising in the end of this book. Oh well, we will see how it goes. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I didn't like that sjm redeemed the king at the last moment tho, I was hoping he would die all this while from the start. But it wasn't that satisfying when it got to it, cuz turns out the king isn't evil!
Same thing with Chaol, I hated him in the second book but sjm went and did that thing and now I like him -_- (hide spoiler)]

I don't really understand the hate for Chaol. I mean sure, he did do a foolish thing in CoM but like isn't anyone allowed to make mistakes? Oh ofc, everyone would look foolish in front of Aelin the almighty (also that's what I felt about her EoS, I found her character development to be totally negative.)

I totally agree with you, I don't even remember why I hated him before. Yeah, it could just be that from Aelin's pov he seems so much like a villain. Also he was stupidly loyal to the king in the first few books(then I learnt that it was for dorian?)
