Jolie Damman | 30 comments Do you prefer them over reading on a screen? Do you usually resell your books or do you keep them for future re-reads? Just curious. I do most of my reading on my kindle, though sometimes I also buy physical books.

TinaNoir | 1457 comments No. The only things I still read in paper are graphic novels. But books I read in digital format.

I have a huge collection of old skool romance novels from the 80s and 90s in my basement, some of them have not been turned digital so if I am feeling nostalgic, I'll read one of them in paper.

I prefer paperback books than hardback books or ebooks. I do not buy hardback books unless that are very cheap at a garage sale or thrift store. I do not buy ebooks at all.

Deviki I prefer paperback/hardcover physical reading materials. Because I can't stare at screen for long time but buying books can be very expensive so I tend to go libraries and borrow or exchange.

But I've read books in digital format especially if the books are really difficult to find here.

I keep books I love and wants to re-read and donate/exchange/sell books that I don't like anymore :P

Monique (mfh2161) | 104 comments Most of my romance, fantasy, horror, etc. reads are in digital format; I do have some that were published before 2000 that are hardback and paperback. For the ones I really love, I also got them later in a digital format.

I prefer my history and reference books in hardback or paper, and I have a collection of artbooks (hardback and paper), many of which are oversized.

On those occasions where I hated a book, I'll donated it. In retrospect, I now wished I had kept a few, as I found out later that they are worth a lot of money now. lol

Jmelfi | 115 comments Yes. I prefer paperback or hardback. I'm not going to the "dark side" (digital). However, I have read free ebooks.

It's Me - Yvette (yvette1000) | 10 comments Absolutely not. Paper? Um, no. You can’t increase the font size with paperbacks. And sadly, my vision isn’t what it used to be. Its all digital all the time for me with audiobooks thrown in as well. So let it be written, so let it be done! LOL!

Paganalexandria | 4065 comments The only physical books I prefer are Cookbooks.

Paganalexandria, very good point. I’m not opposed to a paper cookbook although I do get many of my recipes from the internet.

The FountainPenDiva, Old school geek chick and lover of teddy bears (thefountainpendiva) | 1216 comments I do both.

I love my Kindle, but there will always be something about paperback and hardback books, though nowadays I tend to purchase hardcover books from #ownvoices authors with amazing covers.

peachrings I strongly prefer physical books! I find it much easier to flip around if I want to go back and check something I'd read previously. Plus, easier on the eyes.
