Wings of Fire - The Last Hope discussion

Once he gets to his cell, he sits on the ground and starts crying. He wraps his wings around his head and body, making a case around him.

He stops crying and goes into perpetual half consciousness.

he stands up and starts pacing, then he stops suddenly and shouts out, as loud as he can, "forgive me!!!"

he might be a tad insane... whoops...))

Bores walks in to see that he is properly locked up.

he sits down again, and falls into the state he was in previously.

Bores looks him over, a twinge of guilt threatening to show up, but she squashes it down.

he rolls over and stares at the ceiling.

Bores rolls her eyes and begins to walk out.

"i'll miss you," he says suddenly.

Bores freezes. "Well maybe you should have though of that before," she says cooly.

he looks at her. "i know i'll never see you again, so i'm saying now... i'll miss you..."

Bores holds back a snort. "I'm not in the mood for a sentimental squabble. so let's make this quick."

"that's all i wanted to say... i'll miss you. have fun with nightheart, i hear he's more socially inept than me..."

"The prince and I are not mates and never will be, just like you and I. We are friends, acquaintances, but not mates," she answers indigently.

"ok..." he turns around and zones out. not even trying to think, he says, "i'll never give up getting you bore..."

"No can 'get' me. I am my own person. If you mean me returning your affections," she says the words like they're bad tasting in her mouth, "Then you myth as well give up. Get closure. I do not dislike you. I would have liked to stay friends. But the moment you mistook me for some other dragon, someone you could say those words to is the moment you messed up. I forgive you. But I will not be with you."

"ok..." he suddenly passes out, his head making a sickening cracking sound as it hits the floor.

Blood is beginning to pool around his head. He makes a sick gurgling noise.

Bores freezes and unlocked the door, grabbing some cloth to patch up his head.

he looks into her eyes suddenly, and then passes out again.

Bores sighs and calls for a medic.

He wakes up in his cell, a week later.

Bores walks in, glaring.

"Hey bores..." he stands up and starts pacing.

"Princess Bores," she snaps. "You shall address me as such."

"hey princess bores..." he walks to the front of the cell and puts his head against the bars.

Bores huffs.

he smiles at her. "how have you been?"

She keeps her face natural. "My well being g is no. of your concern."

"it is if i'm trying to be nice." he sighs. "when can we go back to normal?"

"This is normal. This is hoe it should have been," she answers indefferantly.

"are you saying you would've rather stayed in your room, than pull me deeper into that cave?"

"Any day," she replies.

"ok." he thinks for a bit. "why are you down here?"

"To make sure you're secure myself," she says.

"well, i am..." he sits down.

Bores finishes her inspection.

"seeya later..."

Bores doesn't answer as she walks away.
