Good morning! And okay! I’m on break but I’m also reading The Secret History as well and I have some studying to do, but I’ll probably comment here with whatever I finish today so we can chat!

I look forward to reading your review of The Secret History. I've been wanting to read it but so far every review I've read has been negative :(

Oh no :(( it’s the opposite for me I’ve only seen great reviews so I wanted to read so bad haha. Hopefully my review will help you know if you’ll like it or not, because I can see how some people wouldn’t love it but so far I think it’s so good.

So far, yes! (view spoiler)[I really can't even begin to guess who is behind all the texts now. I don't have any good suspects.
But I love Bronwyn and Nate, so I'm hating Evan being back in the picture and the whole Jules scene :((( Maybe it'll all work out in the end (hide spoiler)]

I was actually kind of confused at first because I forgot some of the things from the first book but I'm up to date now.

What do you think about the Phoebe scandal?

Yeah I have a feeling either a love triangle is in their future or just some long strings of misunderstandings there.

And with Phoebe idk how to feel. Because I get that she was kind of acting out due to her sister and her being cut off from each other so she didn't have anyone to confide in about how she was feeling about their father's death, but also obviously I get why her sister is so angry. She's allowed to be angry because of what happened. The whole school though is being unnecessarily harsh to her I think. Especially that last scene with Brandon. I hate him.

Yeah, I agree. She was wrong and there really is no excuse but at the same time it's not a reason to treat her like that :(

Definitely feel bad for her in a sense there.

I may read a little more tonight I’m debating between it and The Secret History before bed because I have work tomorrow (I work when I can on breaks), so I may not have much time for the 8 chapters tomorrow. So I might read ahead a little but only because I’ll be behind tomorrow probably!

Okay great! If we ever buddy read again I won’t suck this bad I promise lol. whenever I’m at home my reading isn’t as structured as it is at school bc my schedule is so unpredictable!

And I’m loving it. It feels complete so I’m wondering what’s going to happen next, I’m gonna read it for a little bit before bed because that’s also something I want to finish before this week is over.

And I already read A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, and loved it! It’s a really good book.

Yess! That's exactly what's happening with me. I just started my classes again last week and I'm still trying to figure out what my ideal schedule should be like (and also I agreed to too many buddy reads this week!) but I feel like we'll have a better buddy reading discussion sometime soon :)

Ooooh, I actually have the 7 1/2 deaths of Evelyn checked out from the library now, I'll have access to it when I'm back at my apartment if you have any spare time soon. Though my pace may slow down with final exams soon and I don't want to be annoying lol. But I own Gone Girl, so we could read that anytime.

I literally just realized that I confused 7 1/2 deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle with The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna 😂😂

But I just read the synopsis of Evelyn and I loove it, I'm really interested in reading it :)
