The Vanishing Stair by Maureen Johnson is the second book in the Truly Devious series (Truly Devious). This is not the genre I usually read but I enjoyed it!
The Plot:
The plot was okay-ish... I didn't like it as much as I liked the first book but it was still good, I just had better expectations from this and sadly it was not that good as I hoped it would be but it was probably me just having high expectations.

This is kinda romanc-y but not that much. The romance is just there. Just sitting there. Doing nothing.

The World
It was set in the mountains of Vermont and I honestly had no problem with the world or the description of the world! It is one of the parts that I really enjoy in the Truly Devious series

The Writing
OH MY GODS this book has one of the best writing! I enjoyed it so much! The descriptions, the dialogues are too well written

The MC
Stevie Bell: She is a really interesting character. I love how she is written and described and explained. I love her personality. She is really smart.

Final Thought this book was definitely engaging ,no doubt about it, I didn't find it as good as the first book. I had better expectations
