spencer walks into the woods. "tess...? are you here...?"
spencer walks into the woods. "tess...? are you here...?"
Tess was near the creek
he walks over to her. "hey, tess... whatcha doin' all the way in here?"
"i thought you would be excited that your brother came... from another maze... with more grievers... and more gladers..." he shakes his head. focus on tess man!!! he tells himself.
he snaps his mouth closed. "what...?" he whispers.
She points to a rabbit
he sees it and smiles. he squeezes her shoulder, and looks at her, smiling kindly at her.
She looked at him, "What are you doing?"
"trying to say good job finding it while not to talking."
"It's called a thumbs up"
"oh hush." he smiles and lets go of her shoulder.
Tess looked at him, "Gimme that"
She throws away, "We're not killing it"
he sighs. "why not?" he goes and picks it up.
"it left as soon as you threw the knife." he walks back over. "that coulda been food."
"Good!" she stood up and left, "Animal killer"
"glade starver!!!" he yells back.
he follows tess into the woods.
"Fresh blood?" Tess whispered
"what?" he stands next to her.
She jumped and punched him
His head is thrown back and his nose starts gushing blood.
"Sorry!", Tess says
He holds the bridge of his nose. "It's ok! I shouldn't have snuck up on you!!!"
"He might have taken his shirt off before he died, and the blood isn't his...?" He says this halfheartedly.
Tess looked at him
"I'll try to find him if you want?"
Tess felt someone watching her, she grabbed a rock and threw it
It hit him in the face and his nose started bleeding. "Do you bloody like doing that??"
He laughs. "Good shot! And yes, I will look for him..."
Newt shakes his head and walks somewhere else
He kisses her again, and takes his hand off of his nose. It had stopped majorly bleeding, and he grabbed her hands in his.
"I WILL try to find him. Whatever it takes..."
She dodged the kiss and kissed his cheek
he smiles nevertheless, and says, "what will happen if he's alive?"
