Hi fellow ranters! You are invited in this thread to share with us some of your underrated favorite books!
I will first start by recommending the Conqueror’s Saga by Kiersten White, which is a historical fiction trilogy set in the Ottoman Empire. It features Lada Dracul, an anti-heroine girl who wants to rule Wallachia, and her soft-hearted brother Radu. It reads more mature than YA books usually tends to. I feel like it can considered Adult. If you love political intrigues, character-driven stories, and authors who take bold risks with characters, this series is one to try. :-)
I know it's not really underrated since it's, y'know, Shakespeare, but I feel like no one ever talks about As You Like It when discussing his plays. Which is too bad, since it's a really fun one.
