Mazo walked into the Cabin, looking around at the mess it was left in. She immediately began repairs after covering all the windows so hardly any light came in. She removed her leather eyepatch as she dusted the room and began repairing the walls, giving them new paint.
Mazo noticed a loose floorboard to discover a stash of 18+ things. She put them back in and recovered it, choosing to just leave it be.
Aiden worked intently on removing all of the debris that cluttered the hardwood floor. He couldn't believe how badly it'd been left. Rusty cans, ratty clothes, rotting food and a bunch of other unpleasant things had been left for them to clear out. Once the floor was relatively clear, Aiden began to sweep up the dust and old leaves, hoping to have the place somewhat clean by nightfall.
"Oh hello there, I didn't notice you somehow." She called out, putting her eyepatch back on and opening the blinds. "I'm Mazo, are you one of the new saves?"
Aiden turned when he heard a women's voice. He nodded a little, noticing her eyepatch. He didn't want to be rude, so he looked away from it, before saying, "I guess. I've been here for a short while." Six months wasn't really short but Aiden supposed that compared to most of the saves it was.
"Oh, well welcome. I made a rule list but I'll sum it up. Be a decent person, don't touch my shit, ect." She said, looking at her watch. "Also no matter what, don't ask or touch my eyepatch."
Aiden stopped sweeping for a moment and turned his full attention to Mazo. He wanted to tell her that he just didn't go around touching people but he simply nodded. In all honesty he liked keeping to himself but knew how dangerous being closed off could be in situations like this. "Got it. Anything else?" he asked, genuinely curious. He didn't want to piss her off by mistake.
"Not that I can think of right now, if you break something I didn't tell you there will be no punishment obviously, minus common sense." She stated, finishing the painting and floor repairs, she has basicly tore through the place, repairing everything in an hour, kinda scary how quick she works.
Aiden just stared at her for a few seconds before returning to his broom. After he was finished there was really nothing left for him to do, as Mazo had pretty much finished fixing up the cabin. He actually loved working with his hands but figured there would be something else to fix later on.
Mazo sat down and resumed work on some sort of gun, it was a dark black and let off no shine. It appeared to be a semi-automatic sniper rifle of unknown make or model.
Sabrina was sitting on her bed, chewing on a pencil. Her hand was shaking as she looked at her notebook. "-Then that equals 10." She mumbled to herself. She was working on some simple subtraction problems.
"Now where in the hell did you come from.." She muttered to the new girl. She readjusted her eyepatch as it had started to slip slightly, causing her some pain due to light.
Sabrina's head shot up and she looked at Mazo. "I dont know." She said, taking the pencil out of her mouth. She looked at her notebook and started to write more math problems.
"Well anyway, I'm Mazo, your cabin leader, don't ask about my eyepatch for now, once the place is spotless and filled, then I'll show you." She said.
She nodded, not looking up. She stared at her book for a couple minutes, then started to write again. "x=7." She mumbled to herself. "Cause x2= 14.."
She lifted up her book and shoed her a page full of math problems, small scribbles and some writing. "Math." She mumbled.
"I keep forgetting how." She said, putting the book down. She started to again.
"No, not really...I dont like guns." She mumbled. She started to chew on the pencil again.
She broke the pencil by accident. "Why...?" She asked, closing the book and putting it under her pillow.
She frowned a bit. "Ok..." She got up and went over to her, then looked at the gun.
She nodded. She didnt really understand any of what she just said, so she just went along with it. "Ok."
"No." She said. "I dont know what that is."
"It's bullet math basicly, the spin of the bullet determins how accurate it is." She said, polishing the barrel. "This fires 7.62×51mm NATO rounds, although those are relativly hard to come by, it can also fire the much much more common .243 Winchester, though that's best against big game."
Sabrina nodded. “Ok.” She watched her.
"It's about ready to be fired, I already did the firing mechanisim. Now we just gotta fire it." She said. "I'll finish up the details such as making the stock a custom fit for me, I'm the one using it so that makes sense to do." Due to her mutation, it has an interchangable scope system as well as the unique ability to be fired from both eyes instead of the normal right eye design.
She nodded. “Ok.” She said once again. She looked at the gun. “Do I have to fire it...?”
((is it possible to make them longer? This is a semi advanced group, so It would be helpful to just enlogate them a bit.))
