Hi Johanne, Leviathan Wakes was a group read in 2014.
Audrey has linked the group bookshelf in her post so people can check what has been read before :)

I'd like to nominate The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury, it's on our shelves for definitive list but has yet to be read by the group.

I'd like to nominate The Imaginary Corpse by Tyler Hayes for fantasy. There should be more dinosaur detectives in my reading pile!

Yep, self-published with a pretty good audience.

Ok, then what about Prince of Fools by Mark Lawrence for fantasy.?
Can I nominate Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie please. I don’t think I saw it on our lists. I saw that we read the first in the trilogy (the blade itself) back in 2014.

That is the third book. Did you want to nominate the second book, Before They Are Hanged? It looks like we haven't done that yet.

I have no idea if this is good, but I bought this during a promo. And, I've been wanting to read a time travel based thing for awhile. So...The Chronothon by Nathan Van Coops for sci-fi.

This looks like the second in the series. Do you know if it works as a stand-alone, or do you want to start with the first one? (In Times Like These)

I couldn't put the series down! it was so fun. Thats why I thought I should nominate it and share the experience

Oh, good catch. I didn't see it was in a series. Never mind.
Thanks

I bought the third one as soon as it came out but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I got to attend a writing Masterclass with Maria a couple years ago. It was the coolest thing I've ever done.

– Books must be published by the first, be available internationally, and available in print form.
– After 24-48 hours, 8 books from each genre will be chosen at random from the selection, using a random generator online.
– Only ONE nomination per person (EITHER sci-fi OR fantasy).
– If books are part of a series, they must be the first, unless the group has already read the previous book(s). (you can see our previous group reads here)
– No authors nominating their own works.
– No self-published or ebook-only books — we want our BotM to be accessible to as many members as possible!
