thank you for the great post! i'm requesting The Book of Memory through ILL at my library. If that doesn't look like it will arrive in time they have a copy of This Mournable Body available so i will go with that.
I'm going with The Library of the Dead. I was pleasantly surprised to see it already available in the UK.
I'm going to read Trains and Lovers by Alexander McCall Smith. I've been meaning to read a book by him and discovered he was born in Zimbabwe!
I’m afraid I’ll have to skip this month! I’m still stuck with my March pick and libraries round here are still closed.
So the two books i wanted to read initially are not going to come up at my library before the end of the months sooo i just requested We Need New Names which it says is available for curbside pickup. So hopefully i'll have it in the next couple days!

For this year's challenge, we'll be reading books written by authors born in the country of the month, but the language it was written in doesn't matter. The genre of the book also doesn't matter.
