Hi all my books are on the page of another author - is it possible to move these please?

This is the wrong author:

1. I moved these books to a unique author profile, and added your bio which is on Amazon.

2. You have a user profile. You can claim this author profile by going to the author profile page here: Katie Kirby

scroll down and click on the link that says is this you?

3. There are already authors with the same name.

4. Goodreads disambiguates between authors of the same name by using spaces before the author's last name.

5. This author profile has 2 spaces: Katie^^Kirby, where the ^ equals a space.

6. When publications are automatically imported from Amazon or other sources, the "handshake" between Goodreads and the other source do not recognize multiple spaces, so the work goes to the default 1 space profile.
It is a systemic function and in no way implies that another author is claiming your work, nor is it an oversight or error, and is easily correctable.

7. You can post in this forum to have it moved as you have done, or you can create the book record with the 2 spaces between your first and last name before the automatic import from the publisher.

8. When you ask for assistance, it is helpful to include that your author profile has 2 spaces.

There are also two listing for my newest book that need combining. I've tried to do this myself by clicking 'combine' but unfortunately no check boxes appear so I'm unsure of how to merge them?

Only Goodreads Authors can combine titles.

The title of one of these was incorrect. I corrected it, and combined the editions.
