Picking a historical fiction with a POC author was hard because there are so many of them. And a lot of them have works housed on my shelves. I think you also chose the same prompt? Have you made a decision for what book you want to read?

It doesn't have to be HF, it can be any genre, so you're not limited if you wanted to go a different way and branch out. The book you selected is great, but there are SO many great books by POC authors! I recently read The Deep by Rivers Solomon and it was really unique and interesting, so I'll also be reading one of their other books An Unkindness of Ghosts as part of this Bingo challenge.
But for this POC Author task, I'll be reading Invisible Man (which is a buddy read with a few friends that conveniently syncs up with our challenge start date... through 100% coincidence of course. :P)

That's great to know that it can also include genres outside of HF. The books you picked sound really interesting and I hope you enjoy them! :)
