No. I think a novella might do the trick. The last book did so poorly it's unlikely we'll get anymore Crossfire books..

I agree, a novella could actually be a great way to wrap things up or give fans a bit more closure without committing to a full-length book. It’s understandable that after the last book’s reception, continuing the series might not be a priority, but a shorter format could still satisfy loyal readers. Sometimes less is more, especially when it comes to extending a story.
