Black Lodge Witch | 24 comments I’m reading For the Thrill of It: Leopold, Loeb, and the Murder That Shocked Jazz Age Chicago by Simon Baatz and I’m fascinated by the legal strategies detailed in it. I’d say Precious Victims by Don Weber successfully highlighted that aspect as well.

Any recommendations?

Fishface | 19131 comments My all-time favorite was written by a prosecutor: HELTER SKELTER by Vincent Bugliosi. Kevin Flynn is an excellent TC author who is also a prosecutor. Hmm, what else? SEX CRIMES by Alice Vachss.

Fishface | 19131 comments Oh, and I felt I finally understood what went on with the Atlanta Child Murders after reading The Atlanta Child Murders: The Night Stalker. Written by the prosecutor in the case. Ditto Dr. Sam Sheppard on Trial: The Prosecutors and the Marilyn Sheppard Murder.

I think there is a book about Gacy written by the prosecutor. I will check my books.
