I’m going to TRY to do the nanorimo but I haven’t written in story format in a while and exams are coming up so we’ll see how it goes 😭
what is nanowrimo? i've never heard of it!
It stands for National Novel Writing Month! It usually takes place in November but there’s also another one in April. Basically it’s a challenge for people to try to write the first draft of a novel (or 50K words on a project) within the month!

it stands for national novel writing month and it’s this program thingy where you have a goal to write 50000 words in one month (november)! they have a tracker on their site where you keep count of your word goal and progress and your projects, etc. right now is camp nanowrimo, which is essentially the same thing but your goal doesn’t have to be 50000 words, it can be whatever you want!
it’s not for everyone but if you’re interested i definitely recommend signing up, there’s literally nothing to lose flkasdhf

Oh, I forgot about camp Nano! I'll probably set a really low goal because college is kicking my ass at the moment, but I'd still like to participate!
Okay so I’ve done some brainstorming on my very long car ride (I still have 6 hours left please save me I’m so tired) and I’m writing a Persephone and Hades retelling 😎My Persephone is fat, black, and a cottagecore sapphic and Hades is MTF transgender and bisexual and both of them are ace. It’s gonna be r o m a n t i c and found family and there’s gonna be poetry sections and a love letter to green mythology and the underworld and escaping the life you were given for the one you want and lots of representation I’m SO SO EXCITED.
Also drew both of them today and I’m in love /hj

I've been trying to write a novella retelling Snow White and Rose Red (sisters and animal transformations and fey and medieval Scotland, basically), but writing is HARD and I have very little time. Slowly but surely, though!And I AM going to put in lots of ace and trans and disability rep. Why did I never have any stories with those things growing up?

Malory Herbaut has been a hatter since 16. In the wonderful world of wonderland, he’s earned the title of the Mad Hatter. But when a girl named Alice comes knocking on his door, his entire world is flipped upside down. This is a game of chess that they’re playing, and he’s another piece.
They must help Alice restore Wonderland and take it back from the clutches of the Queen of Hearts, or everything Malory has worked for will be lost in her clutches.

“How do you know I am not the villain in your story? How do you know I am the antidote, and not the poison?” Malory snarled, thumping his cane on the floorboards for dramatic emphasis.
“Because Mr. Herbaut, the entirety of Wonderland depends on you. It depends on us.”
