Play Book Tag discussion

The main character, Morgan Leafy, is not particularly likeable, and that is true for possibly all of the characters in this novel. Leafy is a junior British official in a fictional country in Africa, who faces scandal and blackmail, and is asked to bribe a doctor. This was a book that I felt started a little bit slow and didn’t grab me, but it grew on me as I was reading, so that by the end Leafy had nearly redeemed himself.
