Love is a theme in this book. But I wonder - do high school relationships last forever or are they just practice for the "real thing"

I'm a Terry Fallis fanboy and am enjoying the voice and wit of this novel, so far. It helps that our son is also studying Creative Writing (at Concordia, not Stanford) and that he uses a fountain pen. Imaging him in Adam's shoes as the story, fantastical as it is, is fun. What would he do in the same circumstances? Nice selection.

Fame - is it all that it is cracked up to be? Photographers constantly stalking you, people commenting or trolling you on the internet. What do you think?
