Your April is my November lol insane how many birthdays! I can't wait to continue on in the Dark Tower series. I've only read the first three but I've loved them so much. I know I'm going to cry when I finish lol

Teehee my March is your April :P Yay to birthdays. I'm impressed you've read the dark tower 4 times. I stopped reading the last book after the death, you know who. I cried and I am dragging ass in case someone else dies lol.

Haven't even picked it up yet. Story of my life. I've read it before but since it was so short I was hoping to squeeze it in again this month. There's still hope. I don't know what it is but I've been reading a lot of chunky books this month too! It does feel nice to knock those off my tbr lol

So I'm a little late to add this, but I finished the book on Monday and I quite liked it. I cried at the end of course. I would say this is better than 'Thinner'. Similar plot as in the man is losing weight, but just done sooo much better.
I think I'm going to start mays book:) I've been bored lately and I've had this book for a while now so I need to read it . Anyone else jump from book to book ?? It's like I have ADHD with reading lol

Elevation is another story set in Castle Rock and the primary character, Scott Carey, is dealing with an interesting affliction. While appearing healthy on the outside, he continuously keeps losing weight. No matter what the does it keeps falling right off. He starts to fear what will happen when the scales reach zero. Next door, a same sex couple moves in and receives a not-so-warm welcome from certain Castle Rock residents.
Filmmaker Jack Bender ("Under the Dome", "Mr. Mercedes") is currently writing a film adaptation but not much else can be found on the subject.
I feel like this is a book that not many King fans talk about much, which is sad considering how recent it is. It's a fun time if you have an afternoon free. Considering it clocks in at roughly just over 100 pages, it reads incredibly fast. I'm excited to re-read it and even more excited to hear everyone's thoughts!
A tip: If you're listening to the audiobook you will also receive a snippet of another King story titled "Laurie", which is unavailable in any other format.
