Did you ever come across a book by sheer "accident", and for lack of a immediate better choice, decided to buy it, and it turned out to be awesome? Tell us, about it!!!

Picked up. Fade to Black (Rojan Dizon #1),which is the first of a trilogy. It turned out to be one of the best books i,ve read. I could not borrow the last book from the libary so had to buy it, i donated this last book to the libary so others did not have to wait to read it.
Fade To Black by Nyx Smith
Is this the correct title Jule? You haven't mentioned the author and there are a number with the same title.
Adriana, I've moved your thread to the correct folder :)

That's cool, Jule! it happened to me recently with
. I was travelling and found out I had the third book of a series without reading the second yet, then I found this one on those shops in airports and ended up buying it for my Kindle. Didn't have much faith on it. Turned out to be awesome!!! :)
That's ok, Brenda! I really took sometime to try to find where to put it and didn't quite could make up my mind... Thanks! :)

FOREVER by Mildred CramI found this wonderful little Gem one day on a table of books in a large department store, and was so drawn to it that I bought without looking into it. It is a hardcover and the cover sleeve is just pretty with no blurb or anything written on it. It still looks brand new! It now sits inside a glass covered bookcase and I read it again from time to time.
It was first published in 1935 and I understand it is now out of print and hard to get?? This one has London 1988 inside the cover.
Without going into too much detail about the story, I discovered upon reading that it is about two young people, one named Julie (my name) and the other is Colin (yes, a Colin had previously featured in my life...but was no longer).
I have never seen another copy and how I came upon it still mystifies me.

That looks fascinating Jools:) How many pages does it have? I found a bit more detail and added it but can't find the page count anywhere:)

Mine has 63 pages and just says Collins 8 Grafton St, London W1 1988 inside.
Do you remember I sent you that cover photo Brenda, because we couldn't find a cover picture anywhere online? That cover matches my ISBN 9780002233859. I see now that someone has put a different cover picture on Amazon...must be another edition. (The link above took me to an audio version, which I didn't know existed.)
