What are "Kit Keepers"?

Judy, They are a collection of multiple copies (usually ten) of certain titles, called kits, which library book groups have available for use in their discussion groups. Our book groups typically pick from the Mid Continent Public Library System's Book Talk Kits. These books are withheld from the catalog system and are ordered through the kitkeeper system. Thanks, Chantel, for the info. The two library systems that I worked for in California each had such a program. Is there a print version of the book kits list? I coordinate a book club in my neighborhood, which is in Independence. It would be great to have a print list. A number of our group aren't very computer savvy.

Judy, I am not aware of a printed version coming from the library. I did print it for my group once two years ago but I had to pull it into a Word document, delete the synopsis and manipulate it to cut down on the number of pages.

Thanks once again, Chantel. I was playing around with doing what you did last night. I did discover that I could get just get a list of the titles. Then all I'd need to do is delete the Kit 2 entries. I'll work on doing that for my book club. We select our books a year ahead; so I have a few months to get it ready for next year's selections.
