This is something that I liked about this book. It was accepting of everyone. All the children at the house were just that, children.Linus also seemed to be accepted just the way he was at the house, if not in the office.
Yes and personalities too! Cranky or exuberant, space for you.I felt for Linus at the beginning when his work environment was additional stress, all those rows of desks with no space for sitting. Part of what he needed was a change in space!

And I loved that. Linus doesn't need to get skinny, he's fine as he is, and I really appreciated that his journey towards happiness and good health didn't need to be accompanied by losing that pudge. (hide spoiler)]
The book gives us the very positive message that people of all body types deserve love and respect, and gives that message in ways both obvious and more subtle.
