Teri-K | 305 comments Do you like historical or modern romances, or both?

For fun historical romance I don't think anybody beats Georgette Heyer's best books. The Grand Sophy is my all time favorite, and Cotillion, The Unknown Ajax, The Talisman Ring, Frederica and Sylvester are also really good. The Wallflowers series by Lisa Kleypas is good as are several series by Julia Quinn, especially Bridgertons and Smythe-Smith. In those series I like some better than others, but they're all pretty popular. And most of them at least make me giggle.

If fantasy/YA's more your style then Gail Carriger has two good series, both fun and funny, Finishing School, (not as much romance) and Parasol Protectorate, (really good except book #3). And you might try the Enchanted, Inc. series by Shanna Swendson. The romance is on the back burner in those, but it grows through the books.

I love books that can make me smile, so I'll be keeping an eye on this to see what people suggest.:)

Sandra Hill has a couple of light hearted romance series out there. The Cajun one and her Vikings 2 series are both fun ones. The Love Potion is the first Cajun one, and The Last Viking is the first book in the other series. As you can see from the fact that the Viking series is referred to as TWO, there is another Viking series which is not real fun. So, you do need to be aware of which series you are looking at with her.

Katie MacAlister also does fun PNR series. Vampires, warlocks, and dragons, oh my. :o)

And I'm going to second (and third and even fourth) Teri-K's suggestion of Georgette Heyer.

Tracy | 88 comments Just One of the Guys is funny, Chastity's father and brothers all work in emergency services and she can't handle blood, wants to be more like them, she's tall and I liked her descriptions of other people and their height, particularly the singles night at the supermarket with her mother.
