The Book Was Better discussion

I must admit....I did not read the book yet. BUT, I did LOVE the movie and hope Netflix continues on with it. I might read the books now to learn more and get more in depth with the story and characters, but the movie is perfection for sure. I've watched it so many times since I play it as background when I'm doing other things a lot since it's easy to go in and out and still enjoy the best bits!

I loved the movie as well! I've made everyone in my family watch with me at least once. I bought the entire series to read this summer...my summer TBR is now officially packed.

I looked at buying the whole set, but I'm feeling cheap. So instead I put in a hold at the library for the first book and then we will go from there! I thought it was interesting though since there are 6 books, and then in 2021 there was/is a new book that I think was made thanks to the popularity of the show. It apparently brings in Tewksberry who is only in the first of book of the series and none of the others.

I understand! The reason I bought the whole series is when I'm done I'm going to lend it to my daughter and nieces who are the age group for these books:) I completely agree that the only reason a new book is coming out is because the show was so popular.
