Zodick walks in after his encounter with Em, sighing, he was disappointed that V had ditched him, but even more upset to see the Ree wasn’t in the dorm like she said she would be. He then saw Jade, the jade green dragon he had given V and calls her to him, letting her perch on his shoulder.

Ree walks in and see’s Zo, “Hey, sorry I’m late.” She wasn’t sorry, she had been playing with smacked, her own dragon, she only said it because that was what he expected of her. She sat down in her bed, sighing, “Zo, you okay?”

He sighs and pets Jades head, “No, not really. Jade had just found someone to band with, but they left, she’s having a hard time recovering. She lost so much in the past year. Trying to find her a good bond makes it even harder on her.” He sits on the bed, putting Jade down and watching as she curled up next to him.

SHe sighed and watched Jade as well, she had lost her mother, just. This year and she needed a bond, someone to help her get along in life, play with her, normally that was a mothers job, but her mother was dead, so she needed to bond with someone, and if she had found someone and they left, she must be devastated, “You could always bond with her.”

“No, I already have Night, you can only have one bond.” He looked at Jade, small and defenseless, but so strong to keep going, “Night can help her I think, but I need to start looking for someone else for her to bond with.”

Ree shock her head, “We’ll thing of something Zo, I know we will.”

Zo nodded and stood, “Well, I was going to ask if you could take Jade and find our cousin, Emika. She might want to see Jade.”

Ria nodded and picked up the little dragon, “Of course, I think she’s in the garden.”

He smiled and payed down on his bed, “Thanks.”

She sighs and walks out, heading for the garden, if she had known it was in the garden, she wouldn’t have agreed, to many colors. She sighed and kept walking, Jade perching on her shoulder.

Ria walked back in, smiling, “Zo! Emi took Jade.”

So looked up, “Good, Jade should be happy, she deserves it.”

Ria nods, “Yes.”

Zo smiles and lays his head down,

Ria smiles, “Get some rest Zo.”

“I’ll try.”

She rubs his back and goes to her own bed, pulling out her phone and seeing a text from Keith.

Miss you already!

Or course he did, as her best friend, maybe more, on the streets, she was always confident that he had her back.

Zodick falls asleep soon, snoring softly for a few moment then falling silent,.

Ria’s phone buzzes and she looks at it.

How are you?

Tired

Why?

Because of Jade, she had bonded and the the bond left.

Oh, how’s she now?

Later Zo wakes up and sighs, he sees Ria texting someone and guesses at who it is.

Ria looks up, “Hey Zo.”

Ria walks in

Zodick turns around and snarls, “What were you doing I that dorm with Azrael?”

“Nothing.”

“Nothing? You call that nothing?”

“Yes because it is none of your business, Ikm going.”

Ria walks in and looks around. She flops onto her bad and looks at Azrael.

Azrael followed in.

Ria watches him, her side of the dorm was neat but comfortable. One wall was lined with books and the window had a window seat, it looked like it was put in after Ria was in there. Her bed was a dark brown frame and black blankets, her nightstand had a stack of books.

Ria sighs when she sees Zo’s side of the dorm. Messy, as always.

Azrael looked around.

She picks up the bag and pulls out his book, “Here, as promised, your book.”

"thanks"

She nods, gets up and moves to her bookshelf, holding her book and scans the shelf.

he opened the book.

She put her book on her self and grabs another book and sits on her bed.

Azrael started reading.

She pulls out her phone and switches between her book and the phone.

"hm?"

She keeps going back and forth, scowling.

"something wrong?"

She looks up and shrugs, “Just a little confused.” She waves her phone, like he should know what she’s doing.

"about what?'

She lifts her book, “I’m writing a repot about the work for class. But the questions don’t line up with the book.”

"oh"

She goes back to her phone.

he closed his book.

She keeps working the n grabs a paper and starts writing.

he watched her.

She bites her lower lip and keeps writing, then flips through her book.

"need any help?"
