You're off to a great start and your list looks really good.Good luck with the rest of the challenge. :-)
Added bookcovers if I've finished it. So far, I've finished 14. I'm going go with the weeks like most everyone else. I'm reading Week 7 with Cinder now, and I'll go back and do the weeks I missed during the weeks I've finished.
Finally finished Sense and Sensibility. I thought it was boring. Anyway, I'm going out of order right now because Thoughtful just came out and I've been eagerly anticipating this. I'm still ahead in total books so I'll just catch up on the weeks later.
I just found out today, that a book I read earlier in the year was written by someone under 30, so I crossed off that category. Whoo hoo! I'm at 19 completed books now.
Finished 2 books this week - Confess and Dark Places. I'm at 24 completed books so far.I'm currently reading Soaring, which is for Week 2, but as a modern romance.
Finished 1 book this week - Soaring. It was a pretty long book, but excellent, classic Kristen Ashley. I'm currently reading The Mathews Family Series Box Set. It's a bundle of 4 books so it will probably take me a while to finish. This is a book recommended by a friend, and I am really enjoying it.
Finished 2 books this week - The Mathews Family Series Box Set, and Fisher's Light. Fisher's Light is a new release that everyone was raving about, so I read it, and it made me cry, so I put that as my cry book. I cry at lots of books, so this is a pretty easy category for me. I'm currently reading the short stories for week 12. I've completed 26 books so far. Halfway done with the challenge!
Finished 1 book this week, the short stories one. I've completed 27 books so far. I'm currently reading Kitchen Confidential as my memoir.
Thanks, The Lit Lover, I think that the first half that I did were more my usual reads, the last half will be more challenging for me, but I'm determined to finish at least one book a week for this challenge. I'm finding myself itching to more side reads lately.
Finished 1 book this week, Kitchen Confidential, the memoir. I really enjoyed it. I've completed 28 books so far. Will start reading Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty as a first book by a popular author.
Finished one book this week, Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty. 29 books completed so far. Reading Love, in Duology as a book from an author I love that I haven't read yet. There are only a few books of Karina Halle's that I haven't read. She's a great author.
Stephanie, I thought it was just OK. The way the POV jumped around was hard to get used to. I liked Big Little Lies better.
Finished 2 books this week, the Love, in Duology bundle (Loved Mateo!), and The Alchemist. I didn't realize that The Alchemist was originally written in Portuguese, so I moved that to my originally written in a different language category. I had it for a book I was supposed to read in school. I finished all my required reading at school, so I am choosing The Giver for this, since my daughter read it for her school. I'm also switching out my color book to the Unidentified Redhead series since I just got those books on sale. Also came across a book called Kamikaze Kangaroos, and I will be using that as my nonfiction. It sounds fun.I've completed 31 books so far.
Finished 2 books this week, the first two books in The Unidentified Redhead trilogy. Since this was a trilogy, I switched it from my color book. I put in Black Box as my color book.I've completed 33 books so far.
Finished 2 books this week, the last book in The Unidentified Redhead trilogy and Kamikaze Kangaroos. The ending of the The Unidentified Redhead was really sweet. Alice Clayton is great and I'm going to keep reading her books. I read Kamikaze Kangaroos as my nonfiction book. It's a funny travelogue of Australia, and I absolutely adored it. I already love Australia so much and I was so happy to see parts of it in such a fun way. I already added Tony James Slater's other books to my Goodreads. If not for this challenge, I would never have picked up this book.I've completed 35 books so far.
Finished 1 book since my last update - The Little Prince as my childhood book. I've done a few side reads since my favorite authors released new books recently. I added Never Never: Part Two to the book published this year category since I read Part 1 for that this year. My side reads were In His Shadow and Marrow, since I just love Tiffany Snow and Tarryn Fisher. I'm currently reading The Giver Quartet as a book I should have read in school but didn't. I always did all my required reading so I just chose a book that my daughter had to read for school. I've completed 36 books so far.
Finished 2 books this week, The Giver Quartet, and The Bronze Horseman (book with a color in the title).I've completed 38 books so far.
Finished 2 books since my last update, Torn as the same initials, and The Wizard of Oz as 100 year old book. I also added 2 books - my side reads to some appropriate completed categories - Marrow as the one word title, and Where Sea Meets Sky because I've always wanted to visit New Zealand.I've completed 40 books so far.
Finished 1 book since my last update. My Pulitzer book The Age of Innocence was so boring in the beginning.I've completed 41 books so far.
I finished 2 books since my last update, the Mom loves book, which was a Barbara Cartland novel. It was OK, but definitely different than our romance novels now. I also finished the true story book - Eat. Pray, Love, which took me FOREVER to read, partly because it was a paperback. I'm so used to reading my Kindle that I actually tried to read that in the dark, and I swiped the page instead of turning it.I've completed 43 books so far.
I'm going back to my usual reads for a little bit before coming back to the challenge, these last books are hard.
I finished 2 books since my last update, the Christmas book, and the bottom of my TBR list. I finished a series that was just Ok for me.I've completed 45 books so far.
Finished 1 category since my last updated, the TV book, I finished the Pines series, I read the first book a while back, and the series came out this summer. I still need to watch it.I've completed 46 books so far. Home stretch!
Finished 2 books this week, the banned book and my hometown book. I switched my hometown book to The Light in the Wound after I found out it was set in Cebu.I've completed 48 books so far. So close!
