Sahara hurried in. She found her favorite sleeping hole and curled up in it. She couldn't see very well in the dark "goodnight anyone who's here" she sighed as she drifted off to sleep

((The beds here are a shallow pool for Starfish, a bed with a bunch of camel skin blankets for the Sandwing (a.k.a you) and a rocky cliff above the ground for Peak the SkyWing))

Sahara woke from a horrible nightmare. It was still dark outside. she decided to go for a quick flight outside. Sahara grabbed her nekalace and thought "I enchant this neckalace to give me unnaturally fast speed until morning"

She sprinted out of her cave to the entrance of jade mountain and burst into the sky

Sahara flew back to her bed. She enchanted the camel skins to be as warm as the sand under the sun

Peak shifted and opened her eyes sleepily. “Sahara, you mind being a bit more quiet?” She asked.

Sahara jumped in surprise to Peak's voice. "Sorry Peak. I didn't know anyone else was in here." Sahara said, embarrassed

Peak laughed slightly (she’s really nice and protective). “Well, I am here but I don’t know where Starfish is. The last time I saw her she was in the art cave.”

"I wonder what she's drawing. It's probably beautiful" Sahara hadn't seen much of Starfish yet "does she really like art?" she asked

“No idea,” said Peak. “I met her once, she seems really but I didn’t get much time to talk.”

"I hope she's nice" Sahara said. "I don't want to have a cave full of jerks, not that your a jerk, I think you're quite nice, but I dont want to have anyone mean here

“Well I say stay away from my little brother Flare. He won’t be someone you’d call “nice” at all,” said Peak.

"ok I'll stay away from him" Sahara said, quickly pulling out a scroll and jotting something down "lots of people where I'm from think all Skywing are mean. they're basing it off of former queen scarlet I think. I was a little more open minded than them."

"i'm not all that tired" Sahara whispered "but if you guys are I'll be quiet"

"oh also, I kinda wanted to tell someone if your still awake, I'm an animus, most people don't know that about me." Sahara whispered "well goodnight" Sahara said as she drifted off to sleep

“An a-animus?” Repeated Peak. “Whoaaaaa. I think Striker is a animus to, or he just looks really strange.”

“He’s kinda handsome...” said Peak.

“No,” said Peak. “Striker just looks—different. And I don’t know if he’s a animus or not...he just seems like a dragon who would be.”

"most animus don't look different physically" Sahara said confuzed

"striker could be, why don't you ask?" Sahara said "I mean, if he's an animus"

“I’d doubt he’d tell me. But if you wanna ask, I think he’ll be in the Prey Center. He wakes up early and goes there. At least that is what I’ve seen.”

"It does sound like starfish is right though" Sahara giggled

“No!” Said Peak fiercely. He sharp tail flicked and then she said, “I think you have a crush on him.”

"..what? I've never met him?" Sahara giggled

“Yes you have! You saw him when you were coming in. Right?”

"ohhhh yeah" Sahara said "I remember that. But I'll only admit my crushes if you guess right" she giggled

“Then who do your have a crush on?”

"I told you! you have to guess!" Sahara said playfully "but I'll give you a hint: they are at least partially nightwing, maybe full, maybe half, maybe quarter! well that's one of my two crushes"

“Spike? I think he likes you...”

Sahara smiled "you're a good guesser" she said "you think he really does? he reminded me of starlight. he's so handsome and quiet and smart. you really think so?"

“Yeah, and I mean, he is sweet but definitely not my type.”

Then she jumped off her rocky ledge and said, “come on. If we want to talk to Striker. We should do it now.”

"Alright lets go" Sahara said happily jumping off her bed
