What do you think after reading this chapter?

Sarah | 40 comments Ok, ok... Sorry for my doubts. There's been some great retelling going on so far, and not in the way I've often found in other series where I find myself skimming over it. I thoroughly enjoy each story that catches up new readers. And it's giving the background I was worried wouldn't be there if this was a standalone. I still think there's far more depth and appreciation gained by veteran readers, but the filing in of the requisite knowledge from the Legends series is coming in nicely. Reviewing this one chapter at a time has had it's downfalls... I should have kept faith!

Sabine | 20 comments The way Arvis described what she has seen happening to Seymour brings my mind to think about collecting feathers...love the little monk and also that idea :-)

But again, Sephryn is consistently on a path of self-pity and not even thinking about listening what Arvis has to say. Feels nearly like smashing the door right in front of Arvis nose after gained support from her. Just fobbing her concerns of with a coin.

Hopefully she soon finds a way out of that, appreciates the few people around her and starts thinking and talking about them as if they were at one eye-level and not as if she’d be sooo much wiser than these “little children” she has to worry about. At the moment it seems to be much more of a typical Frey in her than the strength of her mother.

Wondering what Errol is doing? Did I miss out something?
