The male sat in the limo quietly, looking out the window as they were being taken to their destination. He wore a rather modest attire, and well, just by looking at him you couldn't exactly tell that he was the crown prince of Italy. After all, he dressed like one in the mid-caste. His clothes weren't all that impressive and were rather plain for that of a prince, and well, that much was probably true. After all, he didn't exactly buy a lot of clothes that were stupidly expensive. Of course, he had his formal clothes, but that's about it. Though, it wasn't about him being modest but more or so letting the people who work with the yearly budgets have more room. Other than the food, his tea, and formal wear, the male didn't exactly spend much. He wasn't one for leisurely spending anyways. Not to mention, some people needed that money more than he did.
He seemed rather calm and unbothered by his surroundings, almost as if he wasn't attending a small competition for the princess of Illea's hand in marriage. He never cared much for who he was to marry, knowing that his marriage would likely be a political one. He was just happy that he had the chance to marry someone he respected. Though, it was only a chance. If he didn't get picked, he would likely have to have his own little suitor thing. The main reason he didn't care for who he married because regardless of who they are, he planned on treating them kindly. It's just that he wished he could marry for love, unfortunately for him, that might take too long. But who knows, maybe he might fall for the princess during this selection?

Vick sat at the back of the limo he twisted his hands together nervously, he was relieved that he wouldn’t have to be around his brothers but he had never been this far away from the library. He had also never been around royalty before he glanced at Angelo Am I supposed to say something or just be quiet he worried. Why hadn’t I brought a book! he thought wanting to be able to escape the stress just for a little while
He noticed Vick looking at him and stared at the other male for a moment. He seemed pretty nervous. Angelo smiled gently, hoping that it'll help calm the male's nerves. "What's your name?" he asked the younger boy curiously. Despite this being his competition, he seemed more or so more worried about making the male more comfortable and getting to know him. He had a bag placed in his lap, which he had his arms rested on top of. It was technically considered luggage, but he wanted to keep it on him as it had personal items inside.

“Oh um I’m Victor,” He says “But um you can call be Vick if you want,” he adds. He had never talked to a royal before and didn’t really know what to do. “Um whats your name?” He asks, he already knew but he decided it would probably be best to ask him his name.

The male smiled awkwardly at their interaction. "I'm Angelo!" He said with a smile, clapping his hands together. He was trying to diffuse the tension. "Mostly everyone calls me El though, so feel free to do so." he hummed lightheartedly. "It's nice to meet you both." he hummed happily.

Cassian was in a limo, he was fiddling with his hands, he was never a select before. All of his family was happy for him, He didn't even have a choice. He was chosen and that was that. When he was dropped off he went to the room where all the selected went. He found a corner and stayed there. Where no one could bother him.
"Oh? I do? I don't believe met before though." He hummed with a smile. He wasn't exactly about to be like 'oh yeah, you probably know me because I'm the crown prince of Italy.' It'd be too cringy for him. So, he just wouldn't say he was a prince. "Anyways. How have your days been? Are you guys excited to meet the princess?" He hummed.

Rafe shrugs, “France has better, I think.” He sighed. He looked at the other boy, and on closer examination he knew who her was but didn’t say, if the boy didn’t want to say it, then he wouldn’t say it for the boy.
He felt a bit ticked off by that comment, comparing princesses to each other always left a bad taste in his mouth. And well, as someone who greatly respected the princess of Illea, he obviously wasn't too happy with that. "Well, unfortunately you can't marry your sisters," he replied with a smile, though some may take it as a passive-aggressive comment.

He grinned, “No, I don’t mean to discredit the princesses of Illea, I just already had my eye on someone. But being told by your mother and father that it would help the country by joining the Selection would get more approval than the lady I had my eye on.” He sighed, his mother and father did push on that point, but he was interested with how this will play out, was he going to give it his all? Probably not, though he would try.

Despite being slightly upset about his previous comment, the male seemed to have considerable control over his emotions, as he has remained calm this entire time. "It'll be awful if you do get picked but have your eyes on another girl after all, for both parties. I can't imagine a girl wanting to marry a man who has his eyes on someone else." He spoke honestly.

Rare smiled slightly, “We had no interest in each other except for what is best for France, she agreed that if I did win Rosetta's hand that it would be better for France than if I married her.” He sat forward and rested his chin on his hand watching Angelo. He seemed insulted on Rosetta's behalf.
