Don't get me wrong the HP books still hold a place in my heart, however JKR is cancelled, as she should be.
Oh I know about that. That's kind of annoying but I kind of shrugged it of because it doesn't really concern me, you know? Ok I'm done now. You are free to go back to your protest.

She said "Transgender woman are not women" and she didn't stop there, She wrote a new book and had a transgender character as a serial killer and then she added a link on her twitter to a shop, which sold badges with words "F**k your pronouns" and "Notorious Transphobe"
It's not whether it concerns you or not, it's just wrong. If your parents are racist/homophobe and you are their straight white kid, would you say "Look, it doesn't concern me, you know ?" If that's you, then you are part of the problem as well.

Oh no, I didn't imply that you are in that situation. It's a imaginary situation and you're right, you can have all your disagreements about certain things. I'm not trying to be mean too, it's a fact that she has transphobic views and a disregard to pronouns and we have members in this club who identify themselves other than men and women. So as long as the conversation sticks to her books and the characters in it, it's okay. But one person said JK Rowling is awesome and that's just wrong. We can praise her literary genius ( and I have her to thank for getting me into reading ) but that doesn't mean she's awesome in general. She said some messed up things. I wasn't trying to be mean to you, I just want people in our group to be clear that we can't promote a author/person who has transphobic views. I'm sorry if that felt like me chiding you, that was never my intention.

How?
She's literally transphobic lmao I don't understand how you can say that she's awesome with that in mind but okay"
I think she meant her writing skills and her books.
This is a warning, if this gets out of hand again I will take this topic down. Please keep it nice, we all have our own opinions.
I never read her books... I don't think I will read HP I don't seem to be interested in it (Don't come at me)
But when I found out she was canceled I just didn't want anything to do with the HP world... Again HP fans don't come at me!!!

I love her books, she's a great writer!! And I 100% agree with we all have our own tastes. I love J.K. Rowling, some don't cuz of her homophobic comments. As I am straight, that doesn't really matter to me. (Don't be mad at me) I don't 100% support LGBTQ+!! I support it 49%.
