Reading Glasses - Fan Group discussion

Hi everyone, I’m looking to learn more about disability justice and the experiences of people with disabilities. What are your favorite books about the subject, whether fiction or nonfiction?

This is my first post, so please let me know if it’s in the wrong place, etc.

I just read Judith Heumann’s memoir, Being Heumann, and it was excellent! I think it was recommended on the podcast so you may have already heard of it, but I felt like it gave a lot of great info on the history of US disability activism :)

Disability Visibility is really, really good, and because it's an essay collection, you get many different perspectives on disability
