Joseph and Nicole are trying to capture Kane to retrieve their money because they believe he was the one that stole it from them (RCK). They claimed it was $23 million but Sean only moved about $6 million. What happened to all that money?

I think Sean just made up the fact that there was only $6 million taken out of that account. For some reason I thought that Nicole and company had only got a small percentage of their total in the last book. I'm guessing 23 million was the right amount.

I just didn’t recall it being that much and Sean even had the thought to himself that maybe the guy had already stolen it for himself. Maybe we’ll get more clarity about that because there was only $6 million in the FBI account.

I don't remember the exact amount either. I was thinking it was more than 6 million though.

They were after Kane and he didn't have a clue why they really wanted him enough to use Siobhan Walsh to try and take him alive.

I thought it was more than 6 million too. Maybe someone made some transfers before Sean got to their accounts. No honor among thieves and all that. That, or Sean didn't send it all the money to the FBI account.

I went back to Best Laid Plans and you guys are right. There was $23 million that Sean siphoned off to the FBI.

So...writer error or will we find out what happened to the rest?

I think Sean and Kate had the money moved and cooked up that lie so that if things went haywire, they’d only get away with $6 million. He didn’t plan on Nicole making him hack the Treasury Department.

I thought Sean sent the money to his connection in DC.
