The whole thing with Juan made me suspicious. I was questioning if his wife had really went into labor, or if she had been kidnapped and he was being blackmailed. The only person who seemed to have contact with Juan (until he appeared in the office) was Zach. That made me suspicious of him too.
I was suspicious about that for a time, too, but then it became clear that she really was in the hospital.
I felt sad for Lucy in this moment, given what their relationship had been. But, I understood Juan’s position. Joseph, Nicole & Tobias wanted Lucy and everyone close to her was in danger. It was just an awful, awful moment.

I can totally understand his reasons for not wanting her to visit. They all have targets on their backs and he doesn't want his family to get caught in the middle of something bad.
I agree, it was really sad and my heart broke for Lucy. She considered Juan and his family her family in San Antonio and it was awful for her to be treated like that. But, I fully understand why Juan said what the did, but I didn't like it.
