I have a new cover on Amazon, but I can't change it on here. Can someone help? xxx

It's says I have permission as a librarian until I click to delete the cover. Then it says 'only a librarian' can delete it. Huh?
You need to create a new edition with the new cover; it's against GR policy to remove covers that have been distributed. https://www.goodreads.com/librarian_m...
if it helps, a briefer explanation with directions for the author to decide which cover is featured/primary/default is usually at top of this group in the Author FAQs #4 at https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... .Librarians can create the alternate/new cover edition for you if requested; only author can set which edition shows in simple search, author page, series page, new releases, etc. (If author doesn't set, goodreads just uses the most popular edition.)
Inexplicably, the author FAQs that used to be at top of the first discussions ("general") has moved—but, the above link works to find it or you can scroll down one screen of general discussions to find it.
Thanks. I've added the new edition though it gave me two. It isn't showing yet, but I did click on 'choose this edition'. I'll give it ten minutes. xxx

I'll give it ten minutes. xxx"Ten minutes is almost always plenty of time to show up correctly in general search results; may take up to 72 hours to show everywhere on goodreads, particularly thumbnail heavy pages like author page and series info on author page.
I need to figure this place out. It's like a maze. :D xxx
