A topic to discuss the romance of Lysandra and Aedion from Throne of Glass!

If I'm honest I didn't like them that much. They didn't seem right to me and I didn't want SJM to couple everybody up

I didn't like them, but I didn't not like them. Their relationship was just kind of there

I did like their dynamic in EoS, though there was some problematic stuff in KoA.. overall, I love their relationship, but I do wish that they weren't mates, and it wasn't forced. I mean, mates are supposed to be rare, but literally everyone had a mate by the end of the series, so I'm not sure how I felt about that..

I don't remember whether they were mates but I remember it was mentioned that they got married at the end. I really love Lysandra, she deserves better than Aedion, who was cool up until EoS but really annoyed the hell out of me in KoA with the way he treated her. Like I understand that it's a war and you're mad at everyone (so was I, literally all my babies were in pain and everytime I opened the book I felt like crying thinking about all that Sarah was putting them through) but that still isn't an excuse for you to treat Lysandra like shit! 🙄

Honestly I did get annoyed with him but at the end of the day having him act amazing all the time would be unrealistic af

Yeah I think so too. Not everyone were mates, but as Lauren said, everyone was coupled up, which was a bit unrealistic. Oh well, they all went through SO MUCH throughout the series, so as long as we get happy married life stories from all of them in world of ToG, I'm not complaining 😌

I honestly thought they were kind of forced, and aren't mates supposed to be rare? Almost everyone in TOG and ACOTAR has one.

I felt like Lysandra and Aedion were forced in the end. Like I loved their chemistry in Queen of shadows but after that it felt off.
Plus I’m still pissed how he treated her throwing her out in the snow and stuff. 😠

Were they mates??? I mean I know rowan and Aelin were, I’m pretty sure lorcan and elide were destined to be together (though perhaps not mates) but other thsn that no one else was Fae
