Book scavenger hunts are like scavenger hunts but with reading! There will be a list of items (eg: read a book with a green cover) and each item will have a different point value. You will have one month to gather as many points as you can, and at the end of the month, the person with the most points wins!

Rules:
1. One book per item on the list—books CANNOT double count!
2. You must read the book within the month of the scavenger hunt—previously read books DO NOT count (unless, of course, you reread)!
3. Magazines DO NOT count.
4. Short stories DO NOT count (unless you read an anthology of short stories).
5. Novellas DO count.
6. HAVE FUN!!!

May Prompts:

-Read a book published in May (1 point)

-Read a book that has the sky on the cover (1 point)

-Read a book with a yellow cover (2 points)

-Read this month’s BOTM (2 points)

-Read a book with an animal on the cover (3 points)

-Read a book with a strong Mother-Child relationship (Mother's day) (3 points)

-Read a book with Mental Health Representation (3 points)

-Read a book written by an author listed with their middle initial (3 points)

-Read a book that starts with M (4 points)

-Read a book that takes place in space (4 points)

-Read a book whose MC is part of the AAPI (Asian America, Pacific Islander) community for the USA’s & Canada’s AAPI Heritage Month (4 points)

-Read a book with a character named May or a book published by an author with the name May (5 points)

-Read a book with a one-word title (5 points)
