The lab was...... chaotic for the lack of a better word. There was stuff all around. But if one paid proper attention to it, they might find a certain order of arrangement. Holograms on one side. Blueprints which were on paper on another side. In one corner there is a coffee machine that looks too futuristic to be true. In another corner there are a few picture of Tonio and his little sister. On another end of the lab there are all the heavy equipment and in the another corner there are all the delicate equipment and computers. He walks to one of the computers and quickly clicks some stuff. He then gestures for Lucille to come towards the computer, "Is this her?" He asks

Lucille slipped off the edge of the table and walked over to the computer, shoving her glasses up her nose as she bent down closer to the screen. Her long, delicate fingers traced the words as she read. "Sarah Elizabeth Maximoff, age sixteen, female..." Lucille quietly murmured under her breath. She scrolled down a bit until she saw a picture, then stood up and nodded. "That's her." Lucille said, smiling slightly.

"She was spotted near Avengers Tower a few days ago. Other than that, surveillance hasn't managed to reall catch her. She's doing a good job of staying away from any surveillance" Antonio replied with grudging admiration. "Anyways, now that you know she's safe, what are you going to do?"

Lucille lifted her shoulders in a shrug, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "To be honest, I don't really know." She typed a few comands on the keyboard, pulling up the footage of the Avengers Tower. Her sharp blue eyes fixed onto the screen.

Sarah, sitting outside of the tower, staring up at the sky. Her sister Wanda came and sat with her for a while. Sarah bent her head, writing something in a small notebook, then gave the notebook to Wanda. Sarah's older sister read it, nodded, then stood and went back inside.

Lucille tilted her head. "I don't think she's staying away from the cameras on purpose." she said after a minute. "I think she's living there, at the tower." Lucille chewed on her bottom lip, lost in thought.

"Where exactly were you intending to go with all this? What's your goal?" He asked her, sitting down on a chair at his work desk, casually.

"Oh. Yeah. Nice place to live. Avengers tower." He said, nodding. There was a distant look in his eyes as he seemed to be remembering some old memories and didn't seem to know how to feel about them. He stared at the wall in front of him like that for a bit before seemingly snapping out of it and turning his attention to her.

Lucille was silent for a few seconds, fidgeting with the hem of her shirt. "When I helped Sarah escape from HYDRA I told her to go to the Avengers Tower. I promised I'd be there eventually." she said. But does she really need you there? Does she want you there? her thoughts whispered. Maybe it would be better if you just stayed away. "That's really my goal. To make sure she's alright."

He nodded, looking thoughtful, "If you can prove to them that you aren't really working with Hydra then I'm sure they'll let you in. You should probably head there then, kid" he said, opening another laptop and finishing up some of the paperwork he had before the deadline the day after tomorrow. It's not like he had anything else to do at the moment. It's kinda weird not having a lot of work piled up on him at all times. He was used to juggling the Avengers upgrades with stuff for SI, with board meetings and team meetings along with a bunch of stuff. This was different now and he didn't know how to feel about it. It wasn't unpleasant but it wasn't pleasant either. Okayish maybe.

Lucille nodded. "Thank you for all your help. And for trusting me." she said. She slipped her necklace beneath her shirt and turned toward the door, then stopped. "I never got your name, did I?" she said, tiliting her head a bit to the side.

"I speak from experience when I say that lack of trust can cost one alot" he replied. He looked up when the girl asked for his name and hesitated before sighing and answering, "Antonio. Antonio Carbonell"

Lucille nodded, understanding because she'd had some issues with trust as well. She hesitated for a second, trying to decide if she should tell him her last name. "I'm Lucille Strucker. It's nice to meet you, and thanks again." she said. Then she walked out of the door and was gone.

He blinked in surprise, "Huh, so Strucker has a kid. Didn't expect it" he muttered, shaking his head before going back to his work. He was surprised that no one had connected the dots yet and figured out he was Tony Stark. Izzy had it much easier since the media had all but forgotten her. Oh well, it works in his favour so he ain't gonna complain about it.

The doors to the lab opened and Antonio suddenly grabbed the hilt of a knife that was headed in his direction with his right hand without even looking up from what he was doing. "Izzy, I may be skilled at all of this but that was still quite dangerous" he said.
"But you know you can handle it, grande fratello"
"Just because I can, it doesn't mean that you have to do it every time. What if I had too slow of a reaction time this time around?"
"Fine, I won't do it again, happy?"
"Very much" he replied, setting down the knife on his desk before going back to work. His sister walked in and sat down on one of the chairs, grabbing a high tech phone and messing with it for a while.
"So, how are you liking working here and leaving behind your old life?" She asked suddenly.
"It's.... surprisingly pleasant. And I never thought I would say this but I like this life. And I'm less busy now so I can tinker to my heart's content"
She smiled, "I guess I can agree with that sentiment. Anyways, I'm headed out on another mission. Might not be back for a few days. Wanted to say bye before leaving. We never know when a mission might be my last"
He sighed and stepped back, opening his arms towards her for a hug, "Come here"
She stood and walked up to him and hugged him as he, too, wrapped his arms around her. After a few minutes like that both siblings pulled away, "Try and stay safe for me, will you sorellina?"
"I'll try." She replied, "Bye big bro" she said before turning around and leaving the lab. He watched as his sister left before turning back to his work to make stronger equipment for his sister and his fellow agents. All the while he looked back on all the ways in which his life had changed since he joined SHIELD. The place wasn't half bad. A bonus since his dad and Aunt Peggy had let him know what to expect back when he was a kid. Extremis which had been used to save his life had made him a bit younger too, physically, so a few tweaks in his appearance made sure that nobody would recognise him. Things are much more peaceful now, without SI and the Avengers constantly taking up his time. And there weren't as many expectations now than compared to when he was Tony Stark. A small smile tugged at the thought. It was... freeing.

The door to the lab opened a few minutes later,band someone walked inside. "Progress report on the armor?" Cake a professional female voice.

He stands a bit straighter and turns around on hearing that, "Almost done ma'am, just making a few tweaks to make it a bit more durable"

"Show me."

He stepped aside as he gestured to the armour on the table. It was strong. Yet wasn't heavy. And there weren't any openings for attacks to get through. Ever since he had left weapons manufacturing behind he had focused on more defensive measures and that really helped him come up with this.

Hill ran her hand along the armor, feeling for cracks that weren't there. She paused and looked up. "These are good. And yet they're flexible?"

"It was an idea that's been on my mind for a while" he replied with a slight sheepish smile, "I just needed an opportunity to actually try it out. Plus, what do you all think I've been doing for the past 72 hours? My mind can come up with way crazier things when I'm running on coffee and nonexistent sleep"

"You ask me what I think you've been doing as if I think about you all the time. All I care about is that this works." She paused at his last words and then tilted her head, opened her mouth, then closed it again. "Well, I think we'll all be grateful for that lack of sleep, but we also need you resting, agent."

He resisted an urge to roll his eyes on hearing that. "I'll get some sleep once I've finished working on this, ma'am. Though that may depend on whether or not I get an even crazier and better idea to improve the Armor" he replied, going over the grab his cup of coffee from the nearby table.

"No, you'll get some sleep now. If you're falling asleep on your feet that may end with a mistake in this armor. Besides which, you need sleep, it's a part of life." She wasn't all too great at sleep herself but she wasn't working with tech.

Antonio grumbled about how he would be wasting so much time sleeping and how sleep was for the weak and scientists don't need it but didn't seem to argue with Hill. Technically she is his boss and usually arguing with one's boss does not end up being good in any way.

Hill watched the armor for a second. "So how flexible is it?" She asked. "Can we still move in it?"

"Move?" He asked, looking as if he couldn't believe that Hill was asking that, "Of course they can move! Heck, agents could do yoga in this armour if they wished to!" He muttered about how people need to broaden their minds and not have scientists do all the thinking. The lack of sleep and excess coffee seemed to have rendered his brain to mouth filter useless.

She frowned at him, eyes narrowing. Something about him was familiar, had been since he'd joined SHIELD but more and more often she was getting that...weird sensation she knew this man, from before he'd joined. And his attitude was grating on her in a way only on person had before. "Watch it. And good. So, got any new weapons that are efficient and light? I think I had said we wanted those done, too."

"Sorry ma'am" he muttered. "Most of the stuff has been made lighter and more durable. ICERs last for longer than they used to. I've got tasers too. Which can be hidden in sight easily. But as I've already mentioned, I cannot create any weapons. Bad experiences with them" he winced.

"Right," Hill muttered. "And that sounds good, thank you. That's all I want, we don't want to kill people, we want to help them." She clasped her hands behind her back and surveyed the knock out weapons, even as she kept an eye on Antonio.

He pulled up a few blueprints and schematics for the stuff he listed on to the computer in the lab. He only used his holograms when the lab was in blackout mode. He didn't want anyone getting more information about him than he wanted to. Everything else wa bad enough, especially his ramblings and certain quirks that would certainly catch the eyes of SHIELD agents.

Hill paused by him and peered at the blueprints. "What are those for? Also, can I please send a team to help you? This is too much for one person."

"The upgrades for the armour for the agents. The taser. Blueprints for the ICERs. Everything." He replied. Antonio hesitated, he could managed the workload. He had a habit of working with way more stuff. But after a bit of thinking he conceded "Only if they stay in the main lab. This place is my only sanctuary and I really cannot focus with a lot of people around. But I can forward all of these blueprints to the other scientists"

"Sure, we can arrange for that." She crossed her arms and leaned back against the wall, studying him, blue eyed narrowed. She wasn't even trying to hide it this time.

"What is it, ma'am?" He asked, curious as to why she seemed to be analysing him. "Did I do something wrong?" He was starting to get a bit worried, "Is it the blueprints? The ICER? The armour?"

"Possibly." She pushed off the wall. "No, not anything you've made. It's all been a great help. But I'm not a fan of people forging identities in government organizations." She paused. The glaring hypocrisy made her almost feel bad about the comment.

"Elaborate please, ma'am" he requested, "I don't really follow your train of thought"

She paused and started to head off. "Give my regards to Pepper. I gotta say, working for her wasn't too bad."

He let out a laugh, "Finally! Someone here has brains!"
"Thanks for not kicking me out!" He grinned before turning back to his work.

"Oh, wow, a compliment from Tony Stark, I'm flattered," she stated in a tone that implied she couldn't care less. But she turned. "I won't boot you," she told him in a serious voice. "I get that people may have security reasons for hiding who they are, but at the same time you did it without my knowledge or that of Director Fury, which...does make me a little upset. Still, I know all about your lawyers so I won't even try to boot you." She turned back around. "For the record. Why SHIELD? I'm shocked. And it wasn't that hard to figure out."

"If it wasn't that hard then why the heck didn't anyone figure it out? I've been here for almost a year" he said. "And I even deliberately left some hints" He paused at the question, thinking it over before answering, "It's the only thing I have left of my family" he hadn't put much thought into this at first but now that someone asked him this.... He really put some thought into it. And SHIELD was.... SHIELD was the only thing he had left of his family. Of his father and of his Aunt Peggy. And the Spy twins though he would never admit it. He did consider himself to be Nat and Clint's friend and it had hurt when neither had stood by him but.... Yeah. And his little sister too who has been an agent here for the past three years.

"I've been suspicious for awhile, at least that you were familiar to me. This all finally hit me. The coffee, lack of sleep, private workstation, ad memories making weapons, the armor, the arrogance. Wrapped up all nice in a tight little package." She nodded. "I suppose that makes sense. Well, I...I'll keep your secret to everyone except the Director. I'm sorry, but he needs to know if he doesn't already."
